His breadth of knowledge is fabulous and I cannot help reading his posts even when the subject being discussed is irrelevant to me. Surely I'm not the only Pigletjohn groupie!

Another here. I can see him under floorboards cleaning out airbricks.

MrsBennetsEldest · 28/10/2013 20:11

I imagine whatever job he is doing, he's doing it extremely well:)

Caoilainn · 28/10/2013 20:13

Me too! He has helped me out on my own threads, I read all the threads I see him on even though I'm usually baffled about the problem/response! [Blush]
Also love the 'help PigletJohn!' Threads Grin

deepfriedsage · 28/10/2013 20:14

He could also be busy increasing the size of mains water pipes. Yy, it will be done properly.

Floggingmolly · 28/10/2013 20:15

He should really charge consultancy fees. He's a bloody marvel.

uncomfortablydumb · 28/10/2013 20:16

He's helped me out at least a dozen times, directly & indirectly so big Thanks for him, but I'll stick with my DH

ShatnersEmptyCatacomb · 28/10/2013 20:23

I love his posts too. So helpful and full of facts.

Clargo55 · 28/10/2013 20:33

How does he know so much, tis amazing.

Yanbu.

MrsBennetsEldest · 28/10/2013 20:46

I really hope he reads these and realises how highly thought of he is. I've gathered DH's belongings together and I'm waiting for Piglet so I can get on with the exchange :)

GrendelsMum · 28/10/2013 20:48

PigletJohn would clearly be a dreadful husband - always on MN helping people with their boiler problems.

harbinger · 28/10/2013 20:55

I've done this before but three cheers for Piglet John and as it's ages since I last did this (other name)but I'd like to add OYKKK (WWW) for talking us through this winter and the recent storm.

HellonHeels · 28/10/2013 20:55

Is PigletJohn a man Shock

MrsBennetsEldest · 28/10/2013 20:56

I won't hear a word said against him Grendel :)
I believe he knows all about laundering white shirts so he will do for me!

OP posts:
GrendelsMum · 28/10/2013 20:57

Or indeed, PigletJohn would be a dreadful wife if female.

MrsBennetsEldest · 28/10/2013 20:58

I bloody hope so Hellon,

stubbornstains · 28/10/2013 21:00

I did actually ask what he did for a living in an awe-inspired and grateful moment on another thread, and he claimed to lead a double life as an intimate masseur in Hull Grin

MrsBennetsEldest · 28/10/2013 21:05

Come on Piglet, this thread is just for you, give us a few words of wisdom.
Anyone have any questions they would like to put to Piglet?

OP posts:
HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 28/10/2013 21:09

Yes PigletJohn is a legend in his own time. I hope he sees this too.

CuttedUpPear · 28/10/2013 21:21

I luff him too. I often think of starting threads in his name to get household advice then chicken out

SisterMonicaJoan · 28/10/2013 21:33

YANBU!!

Thanks to PigletJohn I sounded very clued up when I had a joiner round to discuss work and it turned out brilliantly due to a suggestion he made (the gates have survived St Jude!)

Is there an emoticon for a pint??

SomethingOnce · 28/10/2013 21:37

Oh, PigletJohn, if you are in London, please visit and give my DP a kick up the arse - I'm living in a DIY SOS Property Fucking Nightmare!

SomethingOnce · 28/10/2013 21:40

Yy, there is a cake smiley, we need a pint one! (Not sure if that's equal opps or gender stereotyping, probably the latter actually, but whatever...).

WildThongsHeartString · 28/10/2013 21:43

Join the queue ladies, I'm having him first! Halloween Grin

DIddled · 28/10/2013 21:45

I already told him I loved him!!! So helpful :)

Shakey1500 · 28/10/2013 21:46

I asked a question about skirting boards and PJ was kind enough to answer. I meant to reply, forgot and then I couldn't find it Blush

Sorry PJ!
