Just watching 'Carrie and David's Pop Shop' with DS and did a quick Wiki (because I'm nosy!). I've always thought she's a stunner but couldn't age get and I'm astonished to learn that she's 47!! And he's mid 50s!!! I want their secret!

Age her, not get

Think that was filmed a while ago. They still look young for their age though.

She is 47?! Wow! He looks great as well. She is on the one show fairly regularly isn't she and I assume that is pretty current and she just doesn't seem to ago at all. I totally heart her hair.

I've seen them on other live shows recently and they both look the same. Crazy good genes!

There is something about that programme that makes me want to hurl my tv out of the window.

Yes I saw she suffers from that, bless her. It's more her face that I thought looked so much younger. I would have said she was at least 10 years younger.

Have met them through work and they are both completely lovely. Very genuine, warm and generous.

And do they look that young close up?!

An ex-student of mine at music school met Carrie quite a few times. She always said she was very, very beautiful close-up.

Mind you, she also said the same about Sharon Osbourne when she auditioned for the X-Factor when it started!!

Ha! I've Googled cosmetic surgery and unless she's got magic PR people who keep it under wraps she's just naturally gorgeous. The mare.

I've often noticed this too, she must have a picture in her attic. I remember reading an article ages ago where she described her very strict diet because of Crohn's - I wonder if being forced to eat incredibly healthily has kept her looking so fab?

She's not 47 in the shows though, the show was around 10ish years ago when mine were little.

Basically, she's superhuman

A good friend of mine looks similarly well. Youthful, slim. She too has crippling crohn's and her diet is very strict indeed. She says she'd rather look her age and not have a debilitating condition and half her bowel missing.

I was reading a lovely interview with them recently. IIRC a couple of their children have SN and they've also adopted. They didn't claim it was easy either. Sound like a nice family.
