More info needed.

curlew · 06/10/2013 13:29

Sounds as if she doesn't want to be there.

grabaspoon · 06/10/2013 13:29

What is she doing? A) Rehearsing for B) How is she not concentrating?

gordyslovesheep · 06/10/2013 13:31

maybe it's her way of telling you she doesn't want to be there - but if she's nagged and nagged to do this and you have given up your Sunday to take her and she's being a moose then you may have a point (sits on fence!)

Perhaps she is bored? I doubt she's doing it just to piss you off.

MrsDavidBowie · 06/10/2013 13:38

Are you a Tiger Mom?
Pushy parent?
Helicopter mum?

Brokensoul · 06/10/2013 13:40

She wants to do it. , I really wouldn't make her do it if she doesn't want. It's more that she is soooo distracted with everything what is going on.... Grrrr....

I have no idea what you are on about.

PenguinBear · 06/10/2013 13:46

Depends what she's doing, what she is rehearsing for etc.

My girls recently had an 8 hour rehearsal day for a dance comp...They were a little bored by the end and very tired by the end of rehearsal as it was so repeatitve!

digerd · 06/10/2013 13:47

Is it a stage play or a dancing show dress rehearsal?

ICameOnTheJitney · 06/10/2013 13:48
Confused

What IS it she's doing??

Howsuper · 06/10/2013 13:48

Is this like one of those attention seeking FB posts where you wait for dozens of friends to ask you what's wrong?

LIZS · 06/10/2013 13:48

Has she done a show before , being on the actual stage can be overwhelming and better she is distracted now than in performance. Why are you staying , she might focus better without you there.

ouryve · 06/10/2013 13:51

You have it here: she is ten.

YABU.

LittleRedDinosaur · 06/10/2013 13:52

Grin HowSuper!

WhereIsBethanyBear · 06/10/2013 13:54

um

HamwidgeAlive · 06/10/2013 14:11

What?

YouTheCat · 06/10/2013 14:23

I don't know. But I want to ask what is 'febling'? Is it painful?

She'll settle down. It's only a show.

FortyDoorsToNowhere · 06/10/2013 14:30

I wouldn't nag or keep on.

DS wouldn't listen in swimming lesson, got out early and it was hard work. I pulled him out and now just go swimming for fun.

If she isn't concentrating, not listening and not practising leave her to it, when she doesn't get the part then the message that she has to concentrate will be more effective.

GoofyIsACow · 06/10/2013 14:33

She is probably bored as others have said!

Brokensoul · 06/10/2013 14:35

Sorry. Didn't have phone next to me. Its a dance rehearsal. She is bit better now. .
