To name and shame this speeding twat...

Someone I knew from school has posted on their facebook, a video of them driving (what I can gather is a new car) at 140mph down a duel carriageway (only 2 lanes), and was also stupid enough to film it and post it on facebook. I left a less than amused comment and expect to be unfriended shortly.

Shall I share it highlighting the stupidity and hope it goes viral before he deletes it or me...there was no shot of the speedo so useless for the police....

he shouts out the speed as it climbs, thats how I know how fast without a speedo shot btw..

Report it even if you no longer have access. Most stupid drivers think they're amazing and in control when they're just lucky.

Having sat in the central reservation holding the hand of a dying motorcyclist while the car driver who'd shot past me whilst I was doing 70 a couple of minutes earlier was proclaiming he didn't know how it'd happened and he was only doing 65 I say report everyone that does this.

The motorcyclist had 3 children under 5 and was just heading into work. I can't drive that road anymore.

Shit, that's awful...must have been dreadful for you. You were brave to stay with him and hold his hand... I'll bet his family were very grateful he had someone to comfort him in his last moments.

It was awful, I had that thought when he shot past that driving like that could kill someone, never prepares you for when it does.

Everyone should remember that they're not supreme. The rules of the road exist for a reason, you're not an extra special talented driver having not been in an accident yet. Lots of lives were wrecked that day and it happens every day.

I had a taxi driver behind me the other week... He wanted to pass me and was about 3 feet from my bumper, putting his lights on full beam and flashing me! I wanted to stop the car and chin the bastard! I actually had to drive past a memorial spot (flowers at the side of the road where a girl was killed last year by a speeding car) with this loon pursuing me. I got the finger when he turned off and I glared at him and gave him a mouthful. I think there should be more plain police cars.
Holly, you were very brave to stay with that guy. Do you know what happened to the arsehole that caused his death? The law's not tough enough!

Fecking idiot. These people always insist they're 'good drivers', as if the reason the rest of us don't speed is because we're not as confident and cool as them.
