im normally a sun worshipper but being 28 weeks pregnant I haven't enjoyed at all this year.
im hot and flustered and haven't been able to get in the sun much as its just disagreed with my pregnant state so much.
im also so exited about Halloween, bonfire night, christmas, snow and of course the arrival of our baby in November!
cant wait till xmas!

Am due mid November too and did a little cheer when the guy read the weather out a moment ago and said shitty weather for the weekend.

Am hot, sweaty Andy tired with 11 more days to struggle through before mat menace.

So roll on horrid weather, I'm with you.

FruOla · 03/09/2013 06:55

I was going to say YABU, when I saw the title, but I think as you're looking forward to the arrival of your baby in November I've decided YANBU Grin

YABVVVU

I am so sad that summer is over. We live in South Yorkshire and while August has been pleasantly warm, it has been nothing like as hot as July.

I hate the cold and hate having to wear several layers and take ages to get ready to go out of doors.

urtwistingmymelonman · 03/09/2013 07:02

also find that when you just want to be a dossy couch potato its so much nicer being snuggled up warm and cosy when its windy and rainy.
I love that feeling.

I'm due early November and I'm feeling the same way. I actually can't wait for Autumn! Bring on the scarves and the boots and the extra poundage disguising coats.

womblingalong · 03/09/2013 07:47

YABU, for the rest of us, I want us to have hot weather until at least end of October - I love it! However YANBU if pregnant, I had a late August baby after a very hot summer and it was torture!

dexter73 · 03/09/2013 07:52

I always find the idea of winter much better than the actual reality. In your head it is all frosty walks, fires and toasting marshmallows but turns out to be cold and wet, washing hung up round the house and massive fuel bills.

marriedinwhiteisback · 03/09/2013 07:54

YANBU for all who are pregnant. If only it wasn't for the long cold nights. Xmas day baby here, but he's nearly 19. forgets memories of night feeds when it's icy and dark from 4pm until 7.45 good luck - enjoy the next few months, then you can look forward to spring.

Morning Fru

FruOla · 03/09/2013 08:07

at married, good morning - it's a fabulous morning isn't it? I just love this weather!

Campari · 03/09/2013 08:18

I can't wait either! I mentioned my excitement at buying a winter coat to someone at work yesterday, but she just looked at me with disgust Confused.

This summer has been difficult, the hot nights kept the kids awake & working in a 45 degree kitchen all day was not much fun (Im a chef).

But hey...it will soon be long dark days, better sleep, & seasonal festivities Grin

Oblomov · 03/09/2013 08:33

I totally disagree.
May this pleasant weather continue long into September and October. It is perfect for walking the children to school. This is what September should be. Lovely.
I have no desire for cold , wet weather.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 03/09/2013 08:34

YANBU as long as you keep the weather to yourself!

However, sadly, it seems all change from friday on. Welly boots prepared? :(

Featherbag · 03/09/2013 08:38

27 weeks here and I hear you! YANBU!

CreatureRetorts · 03/09/2013 08:40

Winter is ok until you get past christmas and new year.

Then it becomes crap until spring arrives!

MonstersDontCry · 03/09/2013 08:41

I was going to say YABU when I saw the title.

I've had two summer babies and being pregnant in hot weather is horrible so YANBU.

specialsubject · 03/09/2013 10:11

utter disagreement. Winter - short days, damp and retailmas. Yuk.

roll on Scottish independence so we can change the clocks!

WentOnABearHunt · 03/09/2013 10:15

I am due mid October and I agree!! Although it has cooled down massively I am still waaaayyyy to hot!

Cant wait for wooly gloves, hats and scarves! roll on the dark nights and Christmas lights!!

GhostsInSnow · 03/09/2013 10:47

Not even pregnant and I can't wait for cooler weather, smells of bonfires in the air, coming in from the cold to a warm fire, Christmas lights, warm snuggly boots, woolly scarves. Bliss.

Beeyump · 03/09/2013 10:51

Haha specialsubject
That is the only way the clocks will change. Even near Edinburgh, where I live, the winter mornings would be hideously dark without the 'fall back'.

ENormaSnob · 03/09/2013 10:59

Yanbu

Roll on winter boots, casseroles and christmas.

Beeyump · 03/09/2013 11:04

And roll on winter coats! Ohh, I love buying a new winter coat.

tiggerishtom · 03/09/2013 11:25

Yanbu!

I am a 41+1 and summer has been uncomfortable for me, in many many ways!

Plus Autum is my favourite time of year!

Eilidhbelle · 03/09/2013 11:42

YANBU, I'm 38 weeks and summer was very hard. Especially at night time, I swear Scotland gets warmer at night.

KellyElly · 03/09/2013 12:43

I would just like to have an Autumn this year. Last year it was boiling in October and then went freezing cold for months and months. I like the weather where it's chilly enough to wear a jumper and light jacket but not straight into freeze your tits off weather!
