She needsnto drive with someone if she only has a provisiknal licence, surely? Make her walk! Then share the wine

Catsize · 30/08/2013 16:53

E. Get dressed. Go to Tesco. Buy vegetables. Eat nutritious meal. Feed daughter too. Feel better. Smile

SPBisResisting · 30/08/2013 16:53

Charlesroi · 30/08/2013 16:55

No! Don't send DD - she'll get arrested for driving/underage boozing/both (and then you'll have no wine). Bite the bullet, get dressed and go. You won't regret it.

WillYouDoTheFandango · 30/08/2013 16:57

E. go to supermarket in jamas, make self very conspicuous. Go back home and wait to see if there's a judgey thread about you on mn Wink

MillyStar · 30/08/2013 16:57

I vote A plus chocolate!

Just make sure you do get dressed though, there was a lady in my local shop last night in her pj's and dressing gown and i wanted to vomit on her face

MillyStar · 30/08/2013 16:58

Haha fandago love it!

littlewhitebag · 30/08/2013 17:06

If you have wine it will only make you more tired. Have a cup of tea and an early night. Then you will be nice and fresh tomorrow.

Bowlersarm · 30/08/2013 17:08

Early night with a good book.

Have wine tomorrow.

MrsFlorrick · 30/08/2013 17:09

Pls buy some wine for me and drop it off on your way home Grin

DH not home till v late. No wine in house and two toddlers who need dinner and bed so I can't go out.

You'll have to do it for me Wink

UnicornsNotRiddenByGrownUps · 30/08/2013 17:10

A plus DD some treats

CaptainSweatPants · 30/08/2013 17:10

We have a takeaway that delivers wine as well

It's heaven Grin

MrsTerryPratchett · 30/08/2013 17:12

Go in your PJs. Then wait with your Wine for the threads about you on MN.

Yama · 30/08/2013 17:19

My dilemma is:

Do I

A. Drink wine (have plenty)

B. Take painkillers

I had a large root canalled molar taken out on Monday. After days of swollen David Coulthard face and mega pain, I now have dulled pain and huge bruise.

Still on anti-bios.

Please let the consensus be A.

MrsTerryPratchett · 30/08/2013 17:22

David Coulthard face Grin

thebody · 30/08/2013 17:23

op of course it's A., are you insane.

Yama, is both possible??

WaitMonkey · 30/08/2013 17:24

Yama Grin

Yama · 30/08/2013 17:25

I thought you weren't meant to mix alchohol and paracetemol/ibrufen.

I've been dry all week. The very week when a glass of wine would've been as comforting as a true friend.

Gracie990 · 30/08/2013 17:27

Sit in the car whil dd drives , just pop a coat over you pjs.

PerilousStiletto · 30/08/2013 17:29
  1. Have a shower.
  2. Get wine
C. Now you are wide awake, so make sure you get a couple of bottles. Wink (I forgot 2a, or bc? - get dressed after the shower otherwise there really will be threads about you. Although this is more acceptable than pjs in a supermarket.)
YouTheCat · 30/08/2013 17:30

If it's a dull pain, and you're nearly done with the anti-bs, leave the pain killers and have wine.

OP, get thee to Tesco! It's friday!

There are 19 bottles of wine and one of champagne in my cupboard thanks to a rather good haul this birthday. Grin

AtYourCervix · 30/08/2013 17:50

Right.

I'm up.

Bloody DD is refusing to break laws so I'll have to go myself.

Humph.

OP posts:
SPBisResisting · 30/08/2013 17:55

How inconsiderate of her. I blame the bloody parents.

vtechjazz · 30/08/2013 18:19

No liquors or spirits in the house? When desperate I'll resort to my husbands grim rum.
