Sorry Maggie. I promise naked massages from Big John are not my thing but the dirty sex with Tom Hardy is a whole other matter.

I've just had chicken pakora and chips and I'm having my first big slurp of wine just now. Life is good! Grin

Go with DD and get her to go inside. If they check her ID go in yourself.

Our local taxi firm will deliver anything, wine, fags, pick up a takeaway, mind you it cost £5 on top of the shopping.

Mary you just made me choke on my cup of tea (while hubby is out getting the takeaway and wine :-))... Never thought I'd see a thread on naked massage and john mccrirrick...

I've got loads of wine. I can't drink it, it gives me migraines. DH won't open a bottle to have on his own. You could have it if you lived nearby.

Thanks EthelB. It's Amoxycillan. Haven't had any paracetemol since yesterday.

Bloody teeth. I think everyone without teeth/gum/jaw pain should ruddy well give thanks for being so fortunate.

You definitely need to go to Tesco. I've never regretted a wine errand either!

yama if your are on metronizadol you shouldn't take alcohol as can cause massive vommy hang over at best or heart failure at worst.

You shouldn't really take paracetamol with wine as it overloads the liver, but as long as you are otherwise healthy you won't drop dead. Ibruprofen and aspirin are fine though!

Your dd would be asked for id to buy wine anyway. Or am I being silly and missing something here?

There could be another option!

Do you have a partner/husband who isn't home yet who can get wine and chocolate on his way home?

You will then have to share though!

I also sniggered at the suggestion that a cup of tea would be a good idea instead. It just wouldn't cut the mustard on a Friday night. Grin

It's like saying "Nah, don't bother going out to that nice hotel and have the dirtiest sex ever with Tom Hardy! Just stay at home and have a naked massage from John McCririck."

I have never ever regretted the decision to get up and go and get wine from the shops. It's always a good move.
