I still can't decide whether I feel sorry for GlueZilla because she doesn't have the social skills to know this is OOO or be shocked at her arrogance.

TeWiSavesTheDay · 16/08/2013 10:12

farrowandbawl · 16/08/2013 10:15

This morning I realised that I have no life.

I'm looking forward to Tidy's update after HER night out, more than I look forward to going out on my own nights out. I can not believe that thread No4 was the second thing I thought about after I woke this morning.

Markes place with no shame what so ever.

BurningAsh · 16/08/2013 10:19

Have followed this through the threads....just marking my place for tonight's update

DuchessFanny · 16/08/2013 10:23

Yet again marking my place ! Have to go home from our hols tomorrow, so will need good reading material for the journey home !!

LongTailedTit · 16/08/2013 10:24

Yegods, Glue is as self-centred as a gyroscope, those summaries make it sound even worse than I remember! Shock

Morgause · 16/08/2013 10:24

Hope she isn't out too late I have work in the morning.

Maybe I should have an afternoon nap to be sure I'm awake.

nobeer · 16/08/2013 10:33

Horry and DadDad excellent updates Smile

CoffeeOne · 16/08/2013 10:34

shamelessly marking place

ClaudiaWinklepants · 16/08/2013 10:34

Also shamelessly marking my place Grin

This truly is the thread that keeps giving. Look forward to hearing about meeting with Hunfriend. My friend hunned me yesterday by text - made my teeth itch!

Riddo · 16/08/2013 10:45

I'm on holiday and meant to be spending time with the family. I can't stay away from this thread though and tomorrow we're going to a cottage with no wifi, I don't know how I'll cope Grin

magimedi · 16/08/2013 10:45

Wonderful updates & I am so pleased to see that many of you have such sad lives as me in that this thread is the greatest thrill of the day!

Wilberforce2 · 16/08/2013 10:46

Shamelessly place marking, cannot wait for update tonight! Smile

Katisha · 16/08/2013 10:48
YouTheCat · 16/08/2013 11:00

I have wine for later. Grin

Mimishimi · 16/08/2013 11:07

Sadly the other thread has not quite reached the 1000 post mark so why don't we just finish that one off with a bit of placemarking too?

mistlethrush · 16/08/2013 11:13

I'm waiting for the update following Tidy's night out with other uninvited friend with interest Grin

MrsBungle · 16/08/2013 11:15

Those updates by horry and dad are brilliant! I read all the threads and still seemed to miss things!

MammaTJ · 16/08/2013 11:19

Does 'hunfriend' own a particularly nice car? She could be cauffuer!

Does she have a talent for cake decorating?

Does she have catering experience?

Maybe able to bang out a hymn or two on an organ? Has a degree in theology?

Just speculating as to what unreasonable demands have been made upon her! not at all marking place

Mimishimi · 16/08/2013 11:20

Yeah, I didn't read those exchanges between them just after the first one. I don't know how I missed them. Thanks ... er... dad?

Still18atheart · 16/08/2013 11:21

I have just spent the best part of an hour and a half reading threads 2 & 3.

So I am now removing my lurkers cloak of invisibility and bookmarking.

Fabulous updates! Thank you horry and daddad.

Returning to the theme: when I think 'iconic 60s Hollywood film', I think of The Sound Of Music. I am now picturing Sylvanian Families dressed as nuns, nazis, and stern autocratic men, groups of females clad in dresses made of matching curtain material and all males not stern autocrats/nazis wearing leather shorts.

As the bride enters the church, the choir strikes up with "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Gluezilla?"

For the group picture, they are all fleeing from the church, pursued by a giant Sylvanian Hitler and singing "The Hills Are Alive".
