24 hours after Kate Middleton gave birth?

Don't buy it then.
That's the only way things will change.

lessonsintightropes · 23/07/2013 22:38

Hideous and unhelpful.

YouTheCat · 23/07/2013 22:39

I'd never buy that rag anyway.

Do as Nonno suggests and don't buy it.

MalcolmTuckersMum · 23/07/2013 22:40

Is that ghastly pornographer Richard Desmond still the owner of that magazine?

Miggs28 · 23/07/2013 22:41

YANBU, you think they would leave the poor girl alone for 5 minutes to enjoy being a new mother!! She's got enough pressure on her as it is!!

wriggletto · 23/07/2013 22:41

Truly appalling. Given her late mother-in-law's eating disorders, not helped by press scrutiny, it must be particularly upsetting for William to see that.

LionMonkey · 23/07/2013 22:41

I was'nt going to buy it. I never buy OK magazine. But I'd rather not see shitty covers like that when I go into a newsagent or supermarket. I think the message is appalling.

HenWithAttitude · 23/07/2013 22:42

It is appalling. People buy it ...which is even more worrying to me.

emmelinelucas · 23/07/2013 22:42

I don't buy it, or similar magazines exactly because of those kinds of articles.
Angry

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 23/07/2013 22:42

Dreadful.

NewAtThisMalarky · 23/07/2013 22:42

I have to wonder what you expect from a magazine that profits from gossip about the rich and famous.

The people that read this kind of magazine generally wont be bothered, and the people that don't are unlikely to notice.

'meh'

SucksToBeMe · 23/07/2013 22:42

Nasty article. Shame on them. (not that they care what I think)

Well, they wouldn't have. Known it was 24 hours after the birth given that it was published yesterday. Doh.

EweHaveGoatToBeKiddin · 23/07/2013 22:45

Yuck.

I hope Kate swiftly sacks her trainer now. I'd be livid if someone spoke about my 'tummy shrinking back' 24 hours after i'd given birth.

It's a stupid amount of pressure on her.

I feel so sorry for her. I can see her cracking in the next few years from all of this press intrusion.

DuelingFanjo · 23/07/2013 22:45

Buy hello! Instead, they are altogether more gentile.

PatFenis · 23/07/2013 22:47

I don't read magazines but if I did I certainly wouldn't subscribe to this shitey rag after noticing in the newsagents a few years ago a copy of OK with a headline Jade Goody Official Tribute Issue (year of birth -2009) on the front.

I sighed and asked the woman standing in front of me when Jade had died and she said as far as she knew she hadn't.

I picked up the mag and had a quick scan through and it became clear that poor Jade was indeed still alive ....very distasteful and distressing for her family and friends!

CheungFun · 23/07/2013 22:47

I think it's a complete load of crap. I saw the magazine this morning and rolled my eyes! I'm sure Kate will lose her 'baby weight' as she's got a slim frame and I think she has a dog so would be taking the dog and baby out for walks. I don't think she will need to 'try' to lose weight anyway as she will lose it naturally and in good time.

I hate the way the magazine makes it sound like a flat tummy is going to be Kate's no.1 priority for goodness sake! It isn't a race.

themaltesefalcon · 23/07/2013 22:47

Gentile? Can we blame OK! on the Jews, then?

Who can get worked up about what is printed in these shite celebrity magazines? FGM is appalling. This is just tedious.

LionMonkey · 23/07/2013 22:49

Whether it was published yesterday before the birth I think is irrelevant anyway DuelingFango - the baby was overdue so it was more than likely to born very soon, OK would have been aware of that. I think it is very insensitive and intrusive to write about getting back into shape so soon pre or post birth.

OP posts:
Turniptwirl · 23/07/2013 22:49

I hope she sacks the personal trainer for giving that interview! I'm sure Kate has better things to worry about right now

wasabipeanut · 23/07/2013 22:53

Is this the same OK magazine that printed a memorial edition for the late Jade Goody before she actually died? And then ran pictures of her as a sort of angel?

I wouldn't touch this vile, exploitative rag with someone else's barge pole and really, really wish other people wouldn't either.

GoshAnneGorilla · 23/07/2013 22:54

Ha! I told dh that within days, there would be "Kate's weight loss", but they've beaten that.

Vile, intrusive trash not even fit for the litter tray.

P.S I cannot bloody stand people who say "What are you getting worked up about that for, there's worse things in the world"

1)I will get worked up over whatever I please

2)I can be annoyed/angry about more then one thing at once.

charlottehere · 23/07/2013 22:54

Vile rag

WheresMrMonkey · 23/07/2013 22:58

Can't quite believe its real!! Shocking
