So am I being unreasonable to have never tasted it? I don't even know what it is, I've seen the little sachets thingies in ASDA but never been inclined to purchase one.

Am I missing out?

You are not a real MNetter.

Trapper · 11/07/2013 12:34

Have you eaten Pom bears?

AmazingBouncingFerret · 11/07/2013 12:36

Never eaten pom bears either. [sadface]

Sparklingbrook · 11/07/2013 12:36

Ooh you need to. And the Angel Delight Ice Cream they do now.

Justforlaughs · 11/07/2013 12:37

Angel Delight ice lollies - lovely! and cheap!

DocMarten · 11/07/2013 12:37

We had it when we were growing up. It was a real treat. Bought some for my dc. We all hated it!

AmazingBouncingFerret · 11/07/2013 12:37

But what is it?

OP posts:
Justforlaughs · 11/07/2013 12:37

I haven't tried PomBear ice lollies! Grin

Sparklingbrook · 11/07/2013 12:38

It's powder that you add milk to and it makes a mousse type substance. Grin Like Dream Topping.

lollilou · 11/07/2013 12:38

Banana is the only one, especially over real bananas with chocolate sauce on top. Smile

AmazingBouncingFerret · 11/07/2013 12:38

I just googled. It's custard!

OP posts:
Justforlaughs · 11/07/2013 12:38

OP, its a powder that you mix with milk and whisk. It sets into a milky dessert.

Sparklingbrook · 11/07/2013 12:38

It is not custard is it? Confused

AmazingBouncingFerret · 11/07/2013 12:38

oh so like a lighter version than custard then

Are you thinking of Blancmange?

Sparklingbrook · 11/07/2013 12:40

Mmm. I think Wiki are a bit out calling it custard. You can't pour it when it's set.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 11/07/2013 12:40

It sounds foul but I shall bite the bullet and buy one next time i'm at a supermarket.

TattiePants · 11/07/2013 12:40

I haven't had Angel Delight in years, might have to go and buy some (banana of course).

I have never had a pot noodle.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 11/07/2013 12:41

Ah so you can freeze it? That sounds interesting and slightly more palatable.

OP posts:
mrsjay · 11/07/2013 12:42

you have never lived Grin

AmazingBouncingFerret · 11/07/2013 12:42

Tattie! I haven't had one of those either!

I did live on super noodles for a while when a teenager though.

Sparklingbrook · 11/07/2013 12:43

You can freeze the normal one or buy the Angel Delight Ice Cream one.

Mum Mum used to make some sort of dessert whipping up evapoarted milk and jelly. Sad
