Knowing that I hate it?
I've seen it before & really didn't like it, but he's just put it on without even asking me if I want to watch it. He knows I don't like it as he commented 'oh look, you're favourite' as he put it on.

Well...he's nice.
I'd just go and watch i player upstairs.

Talk through it.

And loudly comment on any plot errors, mistakes, what's about yo happen...

It's annoying even if you've seen the film.

Maybe he REALLY wants to see it?? My husband loves that film The Shining - I hate it as it is so dull, long and boring, but when it is showing on TV I am happy to have it on as he likes it.

Good film & Vin Diesel is fit as fuck so YABVU.

It could be worse OP, it could be Pitch Black 2, that really does deserve the title 'Worst Film Ever Made', and I found the first one vaguely entertaining!

Both of the Pitch Black movies are awesome! And being able to gawp at Vin Diesel's sublime body would make it worth watching anyway! So YABvvvvvU!

Meh, it's finished now anyway. Thinking about it, this isn't the first time he'd shown a little thoughtlessness like this & I think it's the cumulative effect which has pissed me off a little.
