spiritedaway · 24/06/2013 23:06

Serious age 34 and we are Greece.

TheEarlOf · 24/06/2013 23:15

Anyone work out what turn the frown meant?!

Hashtagwhatever · 24/06/2013 23:38

Turn the frown was in reply to a poster of that nickname

Hashtagwhatever · 24/06/2013 23:42

Burnt the cake wind up? I missed that one. Anybody have a link?

RainbowRabbit33 · 25/06/2013 00:08

Yap. KK. Move to Classics please. If only because I have shown this thread to DH and now there is a big mess as he rolls around in flour.

OP and contributors, I thank you. I had a shit day at work, and this has made it so much better.

McGeeDiNozzo · 25/06/2013 06:16

I read this in the throes of diverticulitis. My condition has now worsened due to convulsive laughter. I blame Mumsnet. I am suing.

BeckAndCall · 25/06/2013 06:48

No, the 'burnt the cakes' wind up was by a regular who NC to 'Alfred' . It was inspired and it took several pages before any of us twigged. It was about a DH who ate burnt cakes even tho he knew they were not perfect and were destined for the bin. Doesn't sound good when you say it like that, but, actually, it was superb.

CheeryCherry · 25/06/2013 07:17

This thread is still going?

DowntonTrout · 25/06/2013 07:22

Please no!

I am busy today Grin

MadBannersAndCopPorn · 25/06/2013 07:29

Really? Good lord! Just popped on to see if any progress had been made, obviously not!
I'm not getting sucked in today, I have many important and grown up RL things to do....

Good luck those of you brave enough to stick it out today!

be back in an hour

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 25/06/2013 07:36

Please, please don't let this be deleted before I get chance to read it tonight....

shemademedoit · 25/06/2013 07:46

Only got as far as the first page. What's a hamwidge?

MadBannersAndCopPorn · 25/06/2013 08:07

Back again, couldn't resist!

You've killed me shemademedoit PLEASE!

Don't you know what a hamwidge is?

Bread
ham
bread

Not to be confused with a cheesewidge or an eggwidge!

Seriously, got to prize myself away and look after the baby. Where is she by the way?.......

DowntonTrout · 25/06/2013 08:46

Scroll through to my Urban dictionary post shemademedoit

It goes some way to explaining the rather strange language on this thread, but is by no means definitive.

KK?

DowntonTrout · 25/06/2013 08:47

It's on page 19!

ThisReallyIsNotSPNopeNotAtAll · 25/06/2013 08:51

Rosepettel, if you are Greek as your friend Spritedaway says, why not try writing in Greek if you find it easier, then we can do Google translate and would understand what you are saying.
