Who cares what you look like??!!! It saves fuel and is great for the thighs!! I got a Micro Flex Air from Fishface Cycles. It's awesome, I even 'walk' the dogs down the old railway track on it. Would recommend the pneumatic version for versatility

Haha, I've loved reading some of the responses here. All power to those that are happy to give it a go and don't care what they look like.

I live in the Brighton area and see all sorts riding skateboards, scooters and BMXes, there's more of a laid back attitude to this sort of thing I guess.

After looking at kids scooters, dad's now decided he wants one. He wants an offroad one though www.micro-scooters.co.uk/scooters-age-adult/micro-flex-air-multi-terrain-scooter.html

He's already got a mountain bike, BMX and skateboard but the kids can't have all the fun now can they?

To be fair it would be handy to throw in the back of the car when we venture out for walks with the dogs, I'm sure everyone's going to take turns anyway.

I scooted home from school today on DD2's pink Micro scooter, I don't care really what people think it was fun and got me home quicker. If I hadn't scooted I would have had to push it all the way home as she didn't want to leave it in school today. Now I just have to decide whether to scoot back or make her walk home today.

I work in a hospital, and one of the interpreters brings her micro-scooter and scoots through the corridors and wards between clients! Smile
