To be slightly obsessed by the blackheads on MILs face?!

There's about 10 of them in total by the top of her cheekbones and on side of her face by her eyes.

They've always been there but I'm sure I'm getting more fixated by them every time I see her!

She has regular facials where I'm assuming the lucky mare of a beautician gets to squeeze the little beauties as they're always (temporarily) gone after a treatment Hmm

I desperately want to get my paws on them but I'm really not sure she's appreciate it Wink

Oh god, the temptation! I would have to offer to give her a facial. Her beautician is not doing them properly.

NotYoMomma · 01/06/2013 08:49

I got to squeeze a 46 year old blackhead. On my father's back a few years ago.

was amazing and took two sessions over 2 days!

He previously hadn't let me because he had ignored the lump forover 45 years assuming the cancer was coming :/

KentishWine · 01/06/2013 08:53

Delicious. Can you ply her with wine and wait 'til she falls asleep?

cozietoesie · 01/06/2013 08:54

It will likely be because she's sleeping on the area and dirt and oil is getting ground into the skin. How often does she change her pillowcases?

Difficult to turn your eyes away, I know.

oh brings back beautiful memories of when I worked as a beauty therapist the joy the pleasure the satisfaction i would gain from a customer who had clogged up pores

I would be tempted to slip a little night nurse into her tea Blush it is for her own good though :)

bulletwithbutterflywings · 01/06/2013 11:35

I noticed some on a family friend the other day. I would never have noticed if it wasn't for sporn threads :( I couldn't stop looking at them and I really wasn't paying attention when she was talking Blush

BunnyLebowski · 01/06/2013 11:39

My mum used to pay me 50p for each blackhead I allowed her to squeeze. I've inherited her sporny ways.

Grin.
EleanorFarjeon · 01/06/2013 11:39

I got one on my dad's neck that had different 'phases'. It went on & on.

Heaven!

Lamour · 01/06/2013 11:41

Is it bad that I'm considering training as a beauty therapist so that I can specialise in 'facial work'? Blush

EleanorFarjeon · 01/06/2013 11:42

Thank you Bunny. Enjoyed that!

HighInterestRat · 01/06/2013 11:43

I have keratosis pilaris on my upper arms which is like a series of small whiteheads (the kind that stuff swirls out of when you squeeze them) and have to resist squeezing them constantly or they look awful. I hope nobody else is looking temptedly at my arms this summer. Grin

FreudiansSlipper · 01/06/2013 11:48

No Lamour after all you are only wanting others to have blackhead free skin it's a kind and giving of you :)

when I was working steaming was being replaced by masks that cleansed and extracted dirt from the pores :( it did not give a quick fix and was not in the least bit enjoyable

StuntGirl · 01/06/2013 12:01

What is wrong with you people?

phantomhairpuller · 01/06/2013 12:10

Thank you bunny that was excellent Grin

I used to love doing that to my first boyfriend, but only blackheads. Can't describe the rush of pleasure I got when I squeezed it out.

I had a Black Melanoma almost 30 years ago. A few years ago, I could feel something hardish on my back, but couldn't see it. SIL said it was black and hard, GP was suspicious and set me to hospital.
The specialist announced to my embarrassment that it was a blackhead, and he squeezed it out for me Blush Smile

HeffalumpTheFlump · 01/06/2013 17:43

If my DH has a spot and doesn't let me squeeze it I have been known to get quite irate... I can't help it, once iv seen it, the bugger must be squeezed!! I get all agitated and stressed if he says it's too painful to do and I have to go elsewhere and distract myself so i can forget about it. Blush There is something very wrong with me!!

sue52 · 01/06/2013 18:23

This is the strangest mil thread I've ever read. I'll leave you sporners to it.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 01/06/2013 18:47

(PS that was nausea; NOT envy)

SugarandSpice126 · 01/06/2013 18:51

I'm so glad there are other people obsessed with this!! I thought I was the only one. Phew!

MynameisKeith · 01/06/2013 18:58

My df finally allowes me to squeeze the blackhead on his ear last weekend. It had been there for at least three years...took me over half an hour to get it all and was sooo satisfying! :)

sukysue · 01/06/2013 19:02

My dd 2 has loads of blocked pores and spots and blackheads poor me she won't let me touch them not one !

LastDaughterofKrypton · 01/06/2013 19:03

VivaLeBeaver · 01/06/2013 19:12
