So far ive been asked to drop price repeatedly, asked to deliver (despite the fact i cant drive) , asked if i needed to swap for anything and repeatedly told someone can come today waited in to be told they cant come today. Im now waiting on it being picked up and if they dont show i might scream. been called hun a million times. I have the rage.

its gone :) hate selling on there but its a simple way to reach a lot of people but glad it went to someone who really needed it. It does drive me insane though ive waited in all day for people before who just disappear rather than say sorry i dont want it

Are you local to me likesnowflakesinanocean?!
I found myself nodding along to every point you made. I'm also on a few local free pages (bit like Freecycle) and it amazes me so much the things people ask for, like "I'm desperate for some tea, sugar and coffee pots. But must be red. And I can't collect, you must be able to deliver".
Someone asked for a SilverCross pram as well. And I think it's just plain rude if you're getting something for free, the least you can do is go get it. Or even offer petrol money.

No, yanbu. Other --begging- requesting posts that grind my gears are ones such as: just got a new flat/house/mansion , I really need a bed/ fridge/ sofa / crockery as I don't have any money to buy them, has anyone got any of these I could have? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

The ones that annoy me are the ones were people ask for an item they need like a as they can't afford one (fair enough, people are often getting rid of ones that are a bit used and not worth selling) but then go on to say it must be in good condition, a certain pricey make, a certain colour etc etc. if you are that hard up then you should be grateful for a highchair in reasonable condition regardless of make and colour (not saying poor people should have to make do with broken grotty stuff)

Me and dp were just talking about this before we listed the item, we are looking at new furniture. no way would i put our sofa on there the dogs sit on it, the kids have spilt various stuff on it and it just tatty and worn but looking on there it seems there are many that are so much worse. facebook selling is very strange!
