DS had a go. He is really long sighted, (+6) and it turns out with his glasses on he can read things which are really, really out of focus. A great talent when playing this, apparently.

Very addictive but also really frustrating when you get a location that is badly focussed!

Are you Googling from clues or going in completely on a guess?

I'm Googling from clues, such as flags, and words in signs. I get very excited if it's a town rather than just a road in the middle of nowhere. For example, I googled a flag, which turned out to be Madeira, then googled exactly where Madeira is (I had no idea is was so far from the mainland!) And voila! A nice high score. Smile

It doesn't work for the Australian outback, which is often remarkably similar to areas of Brazil, so I've learned.

I got 10080 on my first go just from guessing before I realised you could move the view around. I then proceeded to get rubbish scores until I realised that you can move around. My 16000ish score was when I landed near Dartmoor on one of the rounds so got about 6000 points in one round.
