to be slightly addicted to AIBU?

I am a (happily) childless (gay) man.

I left a message on Mumsnet because I wanted some advice on books for my god daughter. While on, I had a quick peek at AIBU and have been addicted ever since. I always have a 20 minute browse before going to sleep.

My DCP (darling civil partner -I'm trying to start a new term) thinks that:

a. It is weird that I find it so interesting.
b. I am not welcome as I am not a mum nor female

It came to a head last night when I was crying with laughter in bed over the hamwidge thread. It was impossible to explain.

Hello, I am addicted too tbh. I have had some real humdingers on theads! Am a working mum and a bit right wing so sometimes some try and chase me off threads so they can just end up agreeing with each!

The big threads are SAHM v Working Mums, private v state. People living on benefits wondering whether to have another child...Those are the ones that really kick off.

And remember that when someone starts to swear at you and call you names - you are getting somewhere and they dont have an answer apart from calling you a cxxt!!!!
