AIBU?
To be fuming over parking

I suspect I am dipping into the realms of the grumpy old women, and am fully prepared to he flamed, but..,,
We live in a small drive, dead end, allocated parking and extra spaces possibly on corners, grass, enough room for 5 or 6 cars outside of bays. Neighbour 2 doors up is going away on a bank holiday trip I think with around 10 friends who have just turned up and parked cars all over the drive. All space has been taken by these cars and the street looks jam packed, and they have all just got in a mini bus with trailer, suitcases etc and are going away. We are 200m from an empty street which all other streets lead from where visitors normally park as this road is so chocca
AIBU to think this us really selfish?
(Puts on fire proud suit and holds on to judgey pants)

If they've parked in other people's allocated parking then that's totally unreasonable. I'd be leaving angry notes on windscreens- oh and phone or email the local PCSO, they may well pop over or contact the neighbour. There will be a non emergency number or on line reporting system.

Mortified, no, they haven't blocked anywhere or parked in allocated spaces but have filled up the whole street, verges, corners, all grass, with cars then buggered off on holiday. I am not a bored curtain twitcher but there is now no space for anyone to park outside of bays, so no room for visitors, delivery trucks as the street is so tight, turning etc etc

Ah right. Inconsiderate of the neighbour because she could have told her friends to park further away, knowing the street and that it makes deliveries etc tricky . But they are as entitled to park there as anyone else so im afraid there's nothing you can do really

Yeah I know there isn't, I'm just pissed off as this street is tight enough as it is and there are 5 abandoned vehicles around now turning it into a maze to get out of
I know IABU as they have done nothing illegal, but seriously, parking shit loads of cars where other people drive, park, kids play etc then going away..., grrrr
Got my goat, and yes, today I do feel like a grumpy old woman
Oh, and also, I have a few friends coming over later who will now have to park 200m away
