Dinner set including cutlery or just a huge dinner set.

Ring it!

picnicbasketcase · 23/04/2013 09:14

32 piece set, but no mention of what it's a set of? I'd have to ring the number I think Grin

Bogeyface · 23/04/2013 09:14

I am thinking dinner set too, but I am hoping it is far more interesting!

My sister said that it might be a serial killer selling his post mortem tools, but as I said at £10 they wont be very good quality :o

I really need to know what this is so I can judge whether £10 is a bargain or not Grin

Bogeyface · 23/04/2013 18:02

Chickened out of ringing. Texted "Hi, I saw your ad in the XX and wondered what the 32 piece was made up of. Thanks"

Got a reply straight back "Is this a joke?" I said "No, it just didnt say in the paper what the set was." No reply so still none the wiser!

M0naLisa · 23/04/2013 20:24

Hmm I saw dinner service

FannyBazaar · 23/04/2013 20:28

Nah, it's a set of alan keys and you can get them at a Poundshop.

GinOnTwoWheels · 23/04/2013 22:01

OP at the risk of asking the obvious, is the For Sale section of the paper divided into categories, eg Cutlery, Chess Pieces, Dinner Service etc and is the ad under one of these sections, hence the 'is this a joke' response from the seller?

Googling brings up a variety of suggestions, most of which have been listed by DontSHOUTTTT, but my money's on screwdriver bits.

TigerSwallowTail · 23/04/2013 22:30

The plot thickens... Maybe the seller is a mumsnetter and they're trying to confuse you even more?
