To think this is not ok? (Facebook related warning)

I have an ex colleague on my Facebook who now works in a supermarket.

I often see him posting pictures of customers that he's secretly taken of them on his phone while he's working. Pictures to embarrass people and encourage everyone to laugh in particular one old man that seems to be a regular who is distinctly scruffy looking and my ex colleague is always writing how bad the man smells.

Aibu in thinking this is just really not on?

WWYD?

No, that's not on. Not sure how involved you want to get though, you could tell the supermarket if you wanted to.

BigGiantCowWithAKnockKnockTail · 10/04/2013 19:58

I'd be telling his manager. Totally unacceptable behaviour.

orangepudding · 10/04/2013 19:59

That's not on at all,so rude of him.

Pozzled · 10/04/2013 19:59

Are you serious? Do you know where he works? I'd take screen shots and report him to the manager.

slatternlymother · 10/04/2013 19:59

Shock that's horrible!

trinity0097 · 10/04/2013 20:00

I would ring off some screen grabs and take them to his manager or email them to head office, however i would crop off/destroy your name on them!

Booyhoo · 10/04/2013 20:00

he's playing with fire surely? isn't it obvious from the photos which shop he works for? his employers will discipline him for that.

UniqueAndAmazing · 10/04/2013 20:00

that is really not okay.
report to his manager

youmaycallmeSSP · 10/04/2013 20:00

:( how nasty. I'd send screenshots to the store manager.

Gibbous · 10/04/2013 20:00

No it's absolutely not on, I've no doubt he would be sacked if his company found out under their social media policy. And what I would do is tell him this and warn him he is massively risking his job (as well as being a complete dick).

Uppatreecuppatea · 10/04/2013 20:02

What an idiot! Are these people stupid? Don't they know that they'll get caught and lose their jobs?

There was a guy who worked for a well known liquor company (can't remember name - Oddbins or something like that) and he tweeted from the company Twitter account that "Let's celebrate! £10 off champagne. Just saying". He was referring to Thatcher. He has now been suspended.

I would report this guy. Next it will be upskirt.com!

HollyBerryBush · 10/04/2013 20:02

Are you sure they aren't lifted from another site such as ""peopleofwalmart"

KB02 · 10/04/2013 20:02

It is totally not ok. If it was me I would tell him what I thought of him, say he's lucky no-one has told the supermarket, then unfriend him.

coreny · 10/04/2013 20:04

That's awful.

AnneNonimous · 10/04/2013 20:04

hollyberrybush pretty sure as its obviously the same supermarket that he works at and one of the captions says how the guy won't leave him alone etc.

Would everyone report him? I have a feeling he'd laugh in my face if I told him what I thought but it pisses me off everytime I see it (yes I know I could hide it)

VisualiseAHorse · 10/04/2013 20:04

report him.

quoteunquote · 10/04/2013 20:05

That is really nasty behaviour, what a bully.

take screen shots and send them to his management,

He can't give a stuff about his job if he does this, and certainly doesn't give a stuff about the customers who's money , pays his wages, he happily humiliates to get cheap laugh with.

Messandmayhem · 10/04/2013 20:09

Report him, what he's doing is awful.

VelvetSpoon · 10/04/2013 20:11

It's really inappropriate of him to do this. I'd report him in an instant.

GlitterySkulls · 10/04/2013 20:28

I'd report him, I'd also tell him what a cowardly dick he was being.

hellhasnofurylikeahungrywoman · 10/04/2013 20:31

I'd report him without a doubt.

I wouldn't even bother warning him. This has to be gross misconduct.

ReluctantBeing · 10/04/2013 20:37

I agree with screen shots to the manager.

ArtemisiaGentileschisThumb · 10/04/2013 20:38

I wouldn't warn him, the guy sounds like a shit who doesn't deserve a chance to hide what he's doing. I'd report him I'm a second.
