Green skin man touched bread in supermarket

At the supermarket I saw a man with a greenish complexion in the bakery department. He also has a hospital patient band on. He touched some bread in one of the open bread baskets.

Should I have told someone? I didn't as I didn't think it was my business and would be rude but I would t want to eat that bread.

ReluctantBeing · 06/04/2013 12:56

Aliens need shopping too.

VivaLeBeaver · 06/04/2013 12:56

I once saw the bakery bloke who works in our co-op walking to the dispaly with a tray of bread rolls while picking his nose. He then put all the breadrolls on display with his bare bogey fingers! Grin

I think we eat loads of germs every day and live.

PMSL @ 'green skin man'

Freddiemisagreatshag · 06/04/2013 12:57

Was the The Hulk? Because if he was I really wouldn't advise arguing with him.

HTH.

AngelWreakinHavoc · 06/04/2013 12:57

Was he T Rexing? They are green in colour too! Shock

VivaLeBeaver · 06/04/2013 12:57

I wonder what makes your skin green.

Are you sure he wasn't more yellow, that would be jaundice/liver problems.

Lecx · 06/04/2013 12:57

Yes very serious. His skin was a pale green colour. He was wearing ordinary clothes but I did notice hospital band.

I have to tell you that a vast number of people don't wash their hands after touching their genitals in the loo.... Then handle produce at the supermarket

Green Aliens are probably carrying alien life-form bacteria incompatible with our immune systems so it will be safer to touch his bread

David Ickes Lizard people get everywhere even the Palace

MoaningMingeWhingesAgain · 06/04/2013 12:58

And you didn't call the police?

DunderMifflin · 06/04/2013 12:58

Agree with Freddie - was he wearing ripped, purple trousers?

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 06/04/2013 12:58

Is this a crossword clue? How many letters?

Hassled · 06/04/2013 12:58

Of course you should have told someone. There are special agencies set up for exactly this sort of sighting. Honestly, I despair - what, would you have waited until the green man administered an anal probe before you called the FBI?

Bobyan · 06/04/2013 12:59

Just don't follow him to a buffet.

HollyBerryBush · 06/04/2013 13:01

Why am I now singing 'I'm a chameleon' ?

WorraLiberty · 06/04/2013 13:02

Perhaps he was promoting sweetcorn?

Sparklingbrook · 06/04/2013 13:03

Sad Poor man. If he is ill he may want to eat?

Bobyan · 06/04/2013 13:04

Did he look like this?

Fairylea · 06/04/2013 13:04

(Just spluttered my tea laughing).

I don't think you need worry.

He's probably got liver disease. That can make you go yellow or green.

Oddly enough infectious diseases don't always have symptoms anyway.

I'm sure aliens like to squidge the bread to make sure it's fresh too :)

Maat · 06/04/2013 13:05

It's the lack of sun.

Sparklingbrook · 06/04/2013 13:05

Anyone else feel sorry for him? He has had hospital treatment and then had to go food shopping. Sad Hasn't he got someone to go and get some bread for him?

Salmotrutta · 06/04/2013 13:08
