every time this cupronol advert comes on i think, i don't get it.

Shed don't cry and don't take bottles of milk, if its supposed to be a baby, we don't paint babies when they cry

I don't get it either? Bottle feeding a shed?

wibblyjelly · 31/03/2013 15:45

Grrr, I hate it.

Katz · 31/03/2013 15:46

not just me then

its really annoying, why bottle fed a shed?

LynetteScavo · 31/03/2013 15:48

I think it means you look after your shed by painting it. Confused

wibblyjelly · 31/03/2013 15:49

Does this mean I need to paint ds when he starts crying?

RipleyIsMyHero · 31/03/2013 15:50

It's a shit, pointless advert

Sparklingbrook · 31/03/2013 15:50

I hate it when it does the projectile vomit. DS2 had Pyleloric Stenosis at 6 weeks I should say it traumatizes me. Sad

Katz · 31/03/2013 15:50

but shed's aren't babies - why feed it a bottle first why not just paint it?

Glad it's not just me, feel irrationally [buangry] everytime it comes on.

scarletforya · 31/03/2013 15:51

I like it, even though it's nonsense. I like the tears coming out of the shed's 'eyes'.

InLoveWithDavidTennant · 31/03/2013 15:52

glad im not the only one too. stupid advert Angry

DumDum32 · 31/03/2013 15:53

so glad others are on the save wavelength as me on this ad. I've been thinking the same & get [buangry]

Peggotty · 31/03/2013 15:53

It's just a completely rubbish idea for an advert. God knows how the ad agency came up with it - it's just terrible and nonsensical and not even amusing imo.

Sparklingbrook · 31/03/2013 15:53

My friend thinks it's genius. Confused

Startail · 31/03/2013 15:54

It made me giggle.

I think the writer had a MIL who insisted their baby was hungry every time it cried.

They want to say once and for all a bottle isn't the only way to cheer something up [bugrin]

dopeysheep · 31/03/2013 15:57

That ad is a bit odd. Especially at the beginning when the bloke.appears to be asleep nuzzling the woman's boobs.
So maybe it makes.you think about babies and feeding from the off.

EduCated · 31/03/2013 15:58

Why bottle feed a shed?

I think they have trouble with their latch Wink

Katz · 31/03/2013 16:00

eduCated - [bugrin]

ArbitraryUsername · 31/03/2013 16:09

Lots of people must have agreed this was a good idea for an ad campaign. I have absolutely no idea why. It's a terribled advert.

KaraStarbuckThrace · 31/03/2013 16:13

eduCated groan [bgrin]

ChickensHaveNoEyebrows · 31/03/2013 16:16

Am I the only one who thinks that if they had a shed that was screaming and demanding attention, they'd take an axe to it not a bucket of cuprinol?

MonkeyBlossom · 31/03/2013 16:17

It drives me up the wall, its so annoying.
But I suppose its doing its job as we're all talking about it!

WMittens · 31/03/2013 16:17

It's not a very good advert (most of them are shit) but do you really not understand it?

MakeNoResolutions · 31/03/2013 16:27

I didn't know what you were talking about so youtubed it. A match would have solved all their problems.
