Have I become a miserable old git or is this just sick?

I find it hard to believe that many true feminists would advocate such wear.

Slogan t-shirts are never funny

Startail · 12/03/2013 09:40

To prevent what happened to those students who were taken seriously ill during a drugs test happening more often!

gordyslovesheep · 12/03/2013 09:44

So outraged you want lots of people to visit their website Grin

Mugofteaforme · 12/03/2013 10:02

Well Gordy I was after some opinion on the content and perhaps some advice on what do do about complaining officially, but if people are happy with this kind of trash then ho hum....

MiniTheMinx · 12/03/2013 10:04

I like the one with long sleeves......brrrrrr It's cold here Wink

NotADragonOfSoup · 12/03/2013 10:05

Funny how the recent thread on anti women slogans got lots of horrified responses. Hmm

I'm with you, OP. It's not funny at all.

DinglebertWangledack · 12/03/2013 10:07

Oh my god it's a fucking t-shirt, there are way worse things in the world to concern yourself with. DFO.

Mugofteaforme · 12/03/2013 10:08

Thank you Dragon my thoughts exactly. The fact that it's modelled by a child makes some of the responses even more sinister.

OP posts:
PeachActiviaMinge · 12/03/2013 10:09

I agree OP hat is sick and pathetic if it had been "Billions of women why test on animals?" the outrage would have been a lot more. Equality means just that equal treatment for all people regardless of gender. Being a woman doesn't make me better than a man but nor does DH being a man make him better than me.

MisselthwaiteManor · 12/03/2013 10:10

Sexist and dumb.

Mugofteaforme · 12/03/2013 10:17

True Dingle, but if "there are way worse things in the world to concern yourself with" then why concern yourself with my post??

OP posts:
WorraLiberty · 12/03/2013 10:22

I agree OP, it's crass.

ICBINEG · 12/03/2013 10:28

gak! awful.

TheFallenNinja · 12/03/2013 11:16

It really isn't important in the scheme if things.

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 12/03/2013 11:21

I've a feeling this thread was started to prove a point about the double standards of feminists.

Yes. It's a crap, unfunny T shirt.

I think the eve-olution t-shirt is vile too. Bad taste and not funny.

Eskino · 12/03/2013 11:27

Hate it. Not funny. As Catgirl says, slogan tshirts are never funny.

JaquelineHyde · 12/03/2013 11:34

Have you looked at the picture of the model? Confused

Not really what I would call a child!!

MsJupiterJones · 12/03/2013 11:37

It's not feminist.

It's also not funny.

WorraLiberty · 12/03/2013 11:58

I'm baffled as to why they're using white models to model the t.shirts that say, "This is what a black feminist looks like" Confused

DinglebertWangledack · 12/03/2013 11:59

It really isn't important in the scheme if things

Oh and I'll comment where I want, thanks, OP.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 12/03/2013 12:11

I think it's aimed at that very annoying type of woman who thinks that giggling over how useless men are makes them a feminist Hmm If you ask me, it's handy that they've started to signpost themselves so I can steer clear.

Cezella · 12/03/2013 12:15

I think it's supposed to be light hearted and funny, it isn't- but it's not something I find particularly offensive really, I've seen much much worse slogan t shirts
