What is ok about this? If my dc's were here and this had come on, I would turn it off. As it is I feel obliged to watch on so I can inform my judgy-pants and share it with mumsnet Wink Chuh!

I am watching Ant and Dec. What am I missing?

msrisotto · 09/03/2013 19:34

Yeah it was bizarre...

YellowStickers · 09/03/2013 19:34

Fake inflatable arse is preferable to Jodie Prenger, who coincidently does have a fat arse

msrisotto · 09/03/2013 19:34

Ps why are we watching this crap?

Sparklingbrook · 09/03/2013 19:35

What went on with the arse?

YellowStickers · 09/03/2013 19:35

So that we can have a discussion on AIBU, of course!

WeeBoobs · 09/03/2013 19:38

Katherine's partner was the highlight, so far - he seemed lovely Wink

trashcanjunkie · 09/03/2013 19:40

I dunno if I'm being a massive grumpy prude, but I'm fucking sick of seeing arses everywhere, and women being okay with sexist objectification. I've just witnessed some celeb or other dressed in a sort of fat suit, with a neon pink bikini built into the suit IYSWIM. The breast part was bizarre and sagging down, (cos of course saggy breasts and fat people are there to provide amusement aren't they?) with a smallish waist and then super chunky thighs (all part of the fat suit) at one point during the dance routine she bent over and stuck her bum out to be spanked, and the arse cheeks inflated to three times there already ample size....

Who was it?

trashcanjunkie · 09/03/2013 19:42

I'm turning over, but what the hell is on that's worth watching? Gawd - I might have to turn the damn thing off!

Yes it was completely offensive and I can't believe how rude to Nikki menaj. Was about to start a thread on it. Since when has it been ok to poke fun at someone's body? Have changed channel.

LadyBeagleEyes · 09/03/2013 19:44

I'm watching Crufts Grin
Just lots of lovely dogs and Claire Balding.
What's not to like?

roundtable · 09/03/2013 19:49

I'm hazarding a guess that they thought it was fair game as Nicky Minaj is alleged to have had breast and bum implants to get that shape. Google her before and after pictures, the difference is quite dramatic.

trashcanjunkie · 09/03/2013 19:49

ooooh yeay cruft! what channel quick gimme gimme

wannabedomesticgoddess · 09/03/2013 19:51

More4 channel 14 on freeview.

Love crufts.

trashcanjunkie · 09/03/2013 19:51

It's actually meant to be nikki minj? That's appalling! And whether she's had surgery or not shouldn't really come into it imo

OP posts:
trashcanjunkie · 09/03/2013 19:52

Aaah that's better. Cupcakes and Clare.

500internalerror · 09/03/2013 19:52

Since when had appearance not been a subject for humour? Nothing new here. And it's for a good cause.

roundtable · 09/03/2013 19:54

I didn't say it was right but I imagine that's what they thought.

usuallysickonaswing · 09/03/2013 19:55

Nikki Minj Grin

You're right though.

OkayHazel · 09/03/2013 19:58

Pretty sure its not rude to Nicki Minaj considering the woman had surgery to make the thing ginormous on purpose.

I didn't see it on telly though, I'm writing a thesis in the library on a Saturday night.

LineRunner · 09/03/2013 20:04

I didn't know who was dancing or who she was meant to be, but I thought it was fucking awful.

trashcanjunkie · 09/03/2013 20:09

I think that's my ishoo 500internal. Just cos it's for a good cause it's okay to poke fun at fat arses? And why is it ok if they've had surgery okayhazel? People have surgery because at the root of things, they feel unhappy about their bodies enough to have themselves carved up.
