To do Mr and Mrs at a hen do despite brides protestations?

Im arranging a hen do for a BF, she wants a few games but specified NO Mr and Mrs quiz (bah humbug) Personally I love this game and am thinking to go ahead with it regardless...AIBU?
Anyway, I would be very grateful if you could share with me the most hilarious and successful hen game you have played to help me plan a weekend to remember.
I was thinking of providing a few packs of toilet paper and sellotape and getting teams to create a wedding dress on a nominated person out of said materials...what do you think?

It is her party so try and make it something she will like .

Personally I hate hen nights unless it is a normal night out sharing stories and eating and drinking .

YABU if she has said not to do it, I would have found that totally cringy. In fact, I wish I hadn't bothered having a hen night as I didn't really enjoy it, or just had a quiet pre wedding meal with friends instead of the party night out, I felt like I was under too much pressure to have the best night ever and so didn't really enjoy it. Please don't ruin your friend's night, she will be pissed off.

People play games at hen nights? Never come across this before, all the ones I've been to have been drinks, meal and a good laugh. Oh, apart from the one where we went to the Birdcage in Manchester. Came away from that one with a 2 day hangover and deaf as a post...

Ok AIBU, accepted. She does want hen partyish games though and all of the games Im finding online are along the same cringe embarrassing sort of lines. I really need some inspiration for some games which are a bit more fun without the emphasis on embarrassing the bride, which if she doesn't want Mr and Mrs, she won't like most of the typical hen party games either.

Are you sure she wants games, or is she just going along with what you want because you are organising?

I had a ridiculously tacky hen night, but games would have been a step too far. I can't see any grown woman finding it fun.

YABU about that game, she doesn't want to do it. My BF is planning my hen do, I've specifically said I don't want to do certain things and if she went against my wishes and planned to do them I would be gutted. (She wouldn't).

However, The toilet paper idea sounds fun.

I asked hens dh and dad the same questions and she had to guess who had said what. Was funny and harder than you'd think! I wouldn't so out if she doesn't like it though.

YABVU - she doesn't want it so don't do it. I would walk out of my own hen night if you did that to me. Ask her what sort of thing she had in mind. Maybe some sort of charades? That game where you stick names on your forehead and guess them?

I have never been to a hen night with games though, they are normally just a nice meal out and drinks in my circle.

Can you do a quiz that involves asking the guests questions about the bride to see how well people know her?
I've also been to several hen parties where a mystery present is given and the bride has to guess who's given it.

Im helping organise a hrn do later this month. So far we have a kareoke booth in a club, 100 shots and a giant inflatable willy.

Get everyone to write a story about the hen and provide a picture, and name a song that reminds them of her. Put it all in an album for her to keep. My MoH did this for me, I loved it.

No I don't think so Clouds and Trees, I wasn't thinking along the line of games particularly but she mentioned them to me when we were discussing what she wanted.

On reflection the toilet roll game does sound like it could be fun, the only other one I can remember hearing about was a treasure hunt type game but I think that only works if the Bride to be is very outgoing.
Something whoever makes up those cocktails should be strung up by their eyeballs. Especially the pink ones...

Email all the hens with 3 questions

  1. What was your first memory of the bride
  2. What is the most embarrassing thing you've seen the bride do?
  3. What do you love most about the bride?

Read out the answers at the hen do and bride has to guess who they belong to. Nice way for hens who might not have met before to get to know each other.
