To just want some DECENT leggings

Ok so I know that some people hate leggings but I don't and I want to wear them, and actually think I look canny good in them Wink But it would be really nice to find a pair that do not flash my thong, cellulite, camel toe, stretch marks, and various other flaws.....do such things exist? Thicker leggings that don't sag and wash well would be great Smile

Tbh and I don't mean to be rude, but cellulite and even the very best leggings in the world do not go together. Sad

Murphy0510 · 28/02/2013 11:32

Topshop leggings are pretty good

almostanotherday · 28/02/2013 11:33

Next full length ones.

IdaBlankenship · 28/02/2013 11:33

American Apparel ones are pretty good - still need to wear a longer top and not flash your gusset (but surely that's true of all leggings?), but they have good coverage on the legs

thenightsky · 28/02/2013 11:34

Jeggings? Slightly heavier duty might be the way to go.

WhatsTheBuzz · 28/02/2013 11:35

I too like leggings but NOT WORN AS TIGHTS !!

Monstermashpotato · 28/02/2013 11:35

Asda, £6..bought a pair last week and was pleasantly surprised

Loa · 28/02/2013 11:36

I was going to suggest Asda as well.

BettySwollocksandaCrustyRack · 28/02/2013 11:36

My best pair came from warehouse. Pay a bit more and they will last....cheapie ones from say Peacocks and Primark just don't do it.

MrsKeithRichards · 28/02/2013 11:37

I love leggings, tesco clothing ones are fine. Rule of thumb - they aren't trousers. Long tops, skirts and dresses yes. No bum or fanny on show, ever.

Tee2072 · 28/02/2013 11:39

M&S Woman are fantastic.

And I also love leggings. But I wear long tops with them!

sue52 · 28/02/2013 11:40

I find Oasis leggings the best. I do agree with the no bum or camel toe rule.

landofsoapandglory · 28/02/2013 11:41

I bought some from Very called "confident curves control leggings". They are really, really thick - almost like trousers. You won't see your thong or cellulite through them I promise.

goldenstarpine · 28/02/2013 11:42

Try m and co, i've had mine longer than a year, they are thick and non shiny and hold their shape well.Maybe get a smaller size than usual as they are quite big made.

SoleSource · 28/02/2013 11:42

I love Evans leggings. Thick and two pairs for twenty quid.

snickers251 · 28/02/2013 11:48

Next do some amazing hold in , really thick shape wear leggings that held all in and covered my lumpy bumpy bits ... I'm planning in buying several new pairs once this baby is born! They are fab!

ENormaSnob · 28/02/2013 12:07

I just wear cheapo ones but always have a mid thigh length top on.

Doesn't matter on the quality or thickness imo, visible arse, fanny and upper thigh is just not a good look in leggings.

feckawwf · 28/02/2013 12:09

Good grief where to start, so many suggestions!

No I'm not a fan of the arse/fanny flashing crew and my tops tend to be past my butt anyway, even if I'm wearing jeans (size 14-16 with wobbly bits!) but with a toddler, tops can ride up at times.....eew Blush

I still mourn the passing of M&S leggings as they used to be years ago.

They were thick, had a huge amount of stretch, NEVER bagged anywhere, had a lovely wide waistband and just stayed up.

I used to ride in them (with chaps) and honestly they just stayed in shape and always looked great. Washed well, stayed black and in shape....

Then they changed their supplier or something and things were never the same. I've tried pairs from EVERYWHERE and I've never found any to match them :(

atthewelles · 28/02/2013 12:16

I agree with ENorma. No matter how slim and shapely you are, leggings with t shirts or fleeces are not a good look. They should always, IMHO, be worn with long tops or short dresses.

JazzAnnNonMouse · 28/02/2013 12:24

My best pair come from Asda!

Follyfoot · 28/02/2013 12:27

These wide waistband leggings from M & S are comfortable and very good quality. Only £7.50 too.

CharltonHairstyle · 28/02/2013 12:30

Sainsburys luxury leggings for £10 are the best I've had.

ScarletLady02 · 28/02/2013 12:33

Look on BlackMilk.....but only if you can handle the awesomeness.

They're not cheap but THEY HAVE TETRIS LEGGINGS!!!

They do plain ones too. I don't actually have any from here yet, but I've heard nothing but good things.
