To just want some DECENT leggings

Ok so I know that some people hate leggings but I don't and I want to wear them, and actually think I look canny good in them But it would be really nice to find a pair that do not flash my thong, cellulite, camel toe, stretch marks, and various other flaws.....do such things exist? Thicker leggings that don't sag and wash well would be great

A bit pricier than most, but White Stuff do lovely ones. Unusual, useful colours as well.

the only ones that are any good are Isabella Oliver 365(not maternity). they are hellishly expensive but mine have lasted three years of non stop wear so far so worth every penny of the sale price I paid

Honestly they are worth it. Mone have lasted longer than most pairs of jeans I own and are nicer to wear

i'm a 14 but buy a size up with the asda ones. they are great actually.

Asda ones are great haven't had to get a size up though, Do NOT get Red Herring ones from Debenhams they fall apart and are quite thin.

I wear Pineapple ones occasionally with a short dress, and then use them for dancing in the rest of the time.

I bought some cheaper ones in size 14 (I am 10/12) from primark and they just do not come high enough up at the sides. If I wear them over a leotard, the waist (????) does not come up to the top of the not very high leg holes on the leotard and leaves a bizarre looking gap.

I wear leggings every day and the Boden ones are by far the best. I have 6 pairs and they have been washed weekly for more than 2 years - so that's at least 100 plus washes.

Still perfect, not one hole, not over stretched, not pulled, elastic still perfect, not faded.

I hate the M&S wide waistband ones, they are thick but the waist is too low and they give me a bad case of muffin top, I know it is hidden under long tops but it just doesn't feel right, also I tuck vests into them in winter and there is always a gap with the M&S ones.

Why is camel toe even an issue?

Surely the problem here is that you aren't wearing long enough tops rather than that there is something wrong with your leggings?

I have a pair from Pure, a pair from Fat Face and a pair from John Lewis, all of which are going strong after more than a year.

I got 2 pairs of Boden ones a year ago and have been very dissapointed. Thin and now also holey.

Scarlett can I ask about sizing on the truly awesome Black Milk ones - would be a pity to order from Oz and have to send them back and on that note, how long do they take to come?

Alibaba camel toe as in wanting to pull them out of my crotch all day long, yes I do wear long tops with them.

carabos - I'll have to ask some of my friends...I haven't actually ordered from them as I'm eternally skint but I covet their stuff so much. I know plenty of people who have bought things though, so I'll get back to you

Topshop leggings are good (they do thicker ones) but pricey for what they are at £18.
I have some in a soft dark greeny colour and I think they'll outlive my Topshop jeans.....mind you, that's not hard!
