You know the ones like:
Press like if you love your grandma, ignore if you want her to die.
And one I saw this evening: story about a girl who was killed and her killers all died in the same way. If it's true then horrid story but....at the end it said repost this, if you don't her ghost will get you.
I cannot stand these chain posts, just as bad as chain letters. They make my blood boil Angry

I think of all the annoying things about these dumbfuck status posts THIS is the bit that grates my piss the most -

"Most of you won't be brave enough but I think I know the ones who will"

I always want to post 'if you're that fucking clever you'll also know the ones who won't so why are you troubling me with this pissdribble' Grin

BlackAffronted · 19/02/2013 11:28

Saw an awful one about "why women cry" or some shit, with a photo of Casey Anthony under it!

beenhereayear · 19/02/2013 11:44

I normally remove the offenders from my newsfeed (or delete).

Thumbwitch · 19/02/2013 12:04

Oh I got a really baaad one today:
"If I had spoken to my parents the way some children do now, I wouldn't be here to share this status. Some children need to learn the meaning of respect. Share if you agree"
www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=531265500239818&set=a.232757403423964.64793.179109408788764&type=1&relevant_count=1 from some page called Home is Where the Heart Is.

WTAF?? This has 1000s of likes! Can people not understand the implication that the person saying this is implying that a) their parents would have actually killed them if they'd been disrespectful; and b) that children of today should be taught to be in fear of their life if they don't show "respect".

No, oddly enough, I haven't shared this one because I think it's appalling.

Flobbadobs · 19/02/2013 12:07

The spoof ones are brillant but the rest...
I got sent one on Friday. Apparently because I didn't share it I'm going to die with my face ripped off in the shower Grin

I've started commenting on those FB reposts now. I dusted off my soapbox weeks ago and have offended lots of 'friends' by telling them what numpties they are.

I also hate some of those eecards. Someone on my FB posted one yesterday saying 'Of course I'm a great mum...my children are still alive aren't they?'. As someone who's lost a child I don't find that particularly funny and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I just wish people would think before sharing some of this crap
