I started watching it - ahem - with my DD but she only likes the theme tune then gets bored. Yet I find myself still watching it, and not only that but laughing at it too.

I love Peppa. Still think she's too big for her boots though.

DeskPlanner · 10/03/2013 08:26

Happy you have a crush on daddy Pig ! Shock Grin

LadyKinbote · 10/03/2013 08:32

YANBU. Miss Rabbit is my hero Smile

EeyoresGloomyPlace · 10/03/2013 09:15

families yes they are. There's quite a lot of cross over once you start noticing it.

A crush on Daddy Pig Shock !

Buzzardbird · 10/03/2013 09:22

I love bacon sandwiches Grin

Losingexcessweight · 10/03/2013 09:49

I hate peppa pig, she's bad mannered and rude.

It teaches children to be rude. We teach our children to not be rude to others, that all people come in different shapes and sizes etc...

Yet peppa pig tells her dad that he has a very fat tummy and he must exercise every day!

I ve watched three episodes of peppa pig and they have all been comments about daddy's fat tummy etc etc

YABU

LadyKinbote · 10/03/2013 10:35

She's not always mean to Daddy. I quite like the fact that she's a 'real' child (well obviously she's not, she's a pig). I always think the best children's characters are a little bit naughty.

FunnyLittleFrog · 10/03/2013 10:42

The Brian Blessed episode at the lighthouse is properly funny. His voice being the foghorn... the sea, the sky song... the stories I could tell...

DD has grown out of Peppa now and this is making me a bit misty-eyed.

Idocrazythings · 10/03/2013 12:02

Have you seen the advert for the Peppa pig make n bake? I truly thought it said "peppa pig makin' bacon". I was quite Shock until I saw the advert again a few days later- would be funny to have a toy that name though!

dondon33 · 10/03/2013 12:33

Grrr to Peppa pig or peppa świnka -as I'm forced to watch it in Polish.

I can't stand it she's such a spoilt biatch and a huge brat to boot, sometimes I really wish George would just twat her on the snout and be done with it :)

The little boy I take care of loves it - I've tried my best to introduce Rory, Bob etc... but nope! at the moment his obsession is with Peppa :(

dondon33 · 10/03/2013 12:34

*Ah Damn you Polish letters....Should say Peppa Swinka.

NeverWinsMNComps · 10/03/2013 14:08

I love both Peppa pig and Ben & Holly. They're the only kids shows to genuinely make me laugh. (Particularly when Peppa put the phone down on Suzy because she could whistle...)

Whathaveiforgottentoday · 10/03/2013 14:25

I love peppa pig and Daddy pig definitely my fav.

A friend of mine worked with one of the guys who wrote and developed the series. When he left work to work full time on developing it, they thought he was mad. Bet they don't feel the same way now!

Geekster · 10/03/2013 14:29

Daddy pig is great. I love the way he always says I'm a bit of an expert. I liked it when he did the fun run and was worn out, but then he was trying to run away from the wasp and finished it. I need to get a life Grin%

OP posts:
Geekster · 10/03/2013 14:30

That % doesn't mean anything my thumb accidentally touched it as I was posting the message.

OP posts:
Grinkly · 10/03/2013 15:56

Oh, thought you'd gone cross eyed with laughing Grin

Grinkly · 10/03/2013 15:57

Also need to get a life

TrucksAndDinosaurs · 10/03/2013 16:28

Yes but why but isn't George called something beginning with P?
Where is Danny's father? He was in the time capsule episode school photo.
Uncle Pig has a northern wife but Chloe talks in a Southern UK accent.
Why do Peppa and George only see one set of grandparents?
There needs to be a post watershed explaining episode detailing all the tragedies and broken relationships...

Geekster · 10/03/2013 17:09

Yes post watershed Peppa Pig. It would have to be in more muted colours. See what the rabbits get up to at night! Wink

trucks Grin and Mummy Pig's itty bitty bikini Shock I bet she and Daddy Pig get up to some nasty shit after light out...

Took DS to Peppa Pig World last year and it was brilliant! It was like stepping into an accident at the Dulux factory.

determinedma · 10/03/2013 17:20

Hate, hate, hate it. It must be one of the most awful cartoons of all time. Seriously! Complete and utter shite

slatternlymother · 10/03/2013 17:20

George does annoy me when he whinges and cries over nothing though.

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 10/03/2013 17:38

I love love love George Pig. If I thought I get past the law and SS to do it, I'd kidnap him and raise him as my own little son..
