To really hate Little Einsteins?

With their smug faces while they use big musical words I've never heard of and use instruments I've never heard off.

Body music making shit heads. Clapping your hands doesn't make a symbol noise!

Hate most children's shows nut this one is currently annoying me

Um, turn off the tv then? I got 10 baby Einstein DVDs at my baby shower which I returned as I beleive baby/toddler tv Is bullshit.

I know all the musical terms and orchestral excerpts because I come from that background and its still irritating as shit though.

My daughter likes it (she's 3), partly because Quincy wears specs and I think she relates to him, bless her.

I have been doing things with the toddler since 6 this morning. This is my break while we wait for dinner.

Dora the Explorer annoys me too. Why is she allowed to wander around at her age with just a monkey wearing boots til night time?

It's usually followed by Florries Dragons which I find equally irritating. Yes, I realise I COULD change the channel but quite frankly that usually requires way too much effort Grin

I think it's rather funny that they call it "Baby Einstein" when it's known that baby "Albert" Einstein didn't even learn to talk till he was 3 and for most of his life he was very mediocre academically. Though also mindblowingly genius too!

I don't mind Little Einsteins (as long as it is not the American version) but Barney does my head in. It is banned in our house but DD loves to watch it when she goes to her friends house. She tells her friend's parents that her Mummy & Daddy hates Barney.

Personally. Can't stand Waybuloo or Rastamouse. But luckily we're beyond that stuff now!
