You'd be embarrassed of that you love, a guilty pleasure?

My friend was round earlier and mocked me because I had Gold, Spandau Ballett and Together in Electric Dreams on my iPod! I just love those songs! There were a few others too and she didn't even know who sang them either but slagged me for the Spandau Ballett number

I love Gangham Style

KatyPeril · 03/02/2013 22:55

Probably the Glee albums.

IrnBruChew · 03/02/2013 22:56

Just for the record this is lighthearted, just in case I'm told she's a bad friend or similar Smile

I don't dislike Gangnam Style, only because my kids entertain me so much trying to do the dance!

Probably Viva La Vida and Politik by Coldplay, Glorious Day by Embrace, Temptation by Heaven 17, MacArthur Park by Richard Harris, Born to Die by Lana Del Rey. It's also really not cool to love the Divine Comedy, which I do, to the extent that I have nearly every record Neil Hannon has ever released.

I don't self-define as a Goth, but love Goth music like VNV Nation, Assemblage 23 etc.

Pancakeflipper · 03/02/2013 22:58

Obviously LTB and then we'll sing our hearts out to Bryan Adam's Run To You .

What on Earth is wrong with Divine Comedy?? Grin

I now have "Something For The Weekend" stuck in my head...

My ultimate cheese album is Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet

Living on a Prayer is NOT cool....but it IS awesome in every way possible.

IrnBruChew · 03/02/2013 23:02

manicbmc · 03/02/2013 23:02

I have nothing embarrassing on mine. What's wrong with Duran Duran and stuff? Grin

I have mine on shuffle so it can go from Chopin to Annie Lennox to Rolling Stones to Black Sabbath.

OnTheBottomWithAWomansWeekly · 03/02/2013 23:03

Get In My Car by the Hoff. Surprisingly catchy.

MrsKeithRichards · 03/02/2013 23:03

I don't think anyone should be embarrassed, music is meant to be enjoyed. On the surface I'm quite an alternative rock chick kind of girl, with quite cool taste in music

But fuck me, I love status quo, went to see them with my ma and pa last year.

SirIronBottom · 03/02/2013 23:04

That Hasselhoff song is EXCELLENT

gymboywalton · 03/02/2013 23:04

i have reached a stage in life where i am not really embarrassed at all by things like that
i don't care what anyone thinks of my taste in music or clothes or books or shoes or whatever

i like what i like

IrnBruChew · 03/02/2013 23:05

Ha when I put mine on shuffle its Very different! I love shuffle!

shesariver · 03/02/2013 23:08

I dont think any of my music is embarrassing but no doubt DS whos 20 would disagree if he heard Culture Club Karma Chameleon and every single song Simple Minds have ever made!

cafecito · 03/02/2013 23:08

god loads of them are embarrassing Grin

IrnBruChew · 03/02/2013 23:08

I think becausey friend is a few years younger than me she raised eyebrows at half my songs! She doesn't know what music is IMO haha! I do have a Martin Kemp crush though so can't see him being slated
