You'd be embarrassed of that you love, a guilty pleasure?

My friend was round earlier and mocked me because I had Gold, Spandau Ballett and Together in Electric Dreams on my iPod! I just love those songs! There were a few others too and she didn't even know who sang them either but slagged me for the Spandau Ballett number

I love Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon. A-hoooooo! Grin It makes me smile every time!

ScarletLady02 · 03/02/2013 23:12

Whoever mentioned War Of the Worlds - LOVE IT! The songs are just amazing....cheesy as hell but it's great. "No Nathaniel No!"

My Dad used to put it on (he had a cassette copy of his vinyl) on long car journeys so it always reminds me of holidays.

CheCazzo · 03/02/2013 23:14

I was having a clear up the other day and found a CD single by Michelle McManus. I suppose I must have liked it at some stage to buy it but Blush at that now Grin

whatsforyou · 03/02/2013 23:14

I am a bit shocked that someone thinks Embrace is something to be ashamed of Shock

I am ashamed of nothing, I have music from the stones, to the wets to darius and everything in between!some I might not listen to much any more but as long as it is a good tune I'll boogie on down Smile

ouryve · 03/02/2013 23:16

I'm not embarrassed by any of the music I like. Why should I be?

IrnBruChew · 03/02/2013 23:18

Exactly whatsforyou I'm the same, I'll even sing along to One Direction, their songs are too catchy, and The Wanted and Taylor Swift!

I'm not embarrassed by it, but I have the Estonian Eurovision entry from 2009 on my iPod. It gets some Hmm faces, especially as the album pic has Eurovision emblazoned on it in swirly writing. I don't care, it's beautiful in a weird folk/urban fusion kind of way.

And the bonus is I have utterly no idea what the pretty ladies with string instruments are singing about.

IrnBruChew · 03/02/2013 23:40

Ah a girl I worked bought the Eurovision cd every year, I did think "why"? Ha

I don't have any S Club 7/ Bucks Fizz stuff to confess, but for anyone who was reading the Junior Choice thread, I have most of the songs mentioned. I am v. v. v. cool, 'kay?

ipswichwitch · 04/02/2013 01:40

The devil went down to Georgia by Charlie Daniels band.
And I know all the words and even sing along to the fiddle parts!

pissovski · 04/02/2013 08:54

agree with MrsKeith and ouryve - I refuse to be shamed/embarrassed by any of the music I like. It is my taste/opinion and anyone else can do one!

Sorry - but this is something that irritates me a bit cos I did have the mickey taken out of me at school a lot "Oh my God you like that" type thing and so now i say sod em!

YeahBuddy · 04/02/2013 09:02

I have soooo much cheese on my iPod its unreal! Think The Birdy Song, Macarena etc. I used to be a party dj and haven't quite gotten around to taking it all off Grin

WhereTheWildOnesSnow · 04/02/2013 09:15

I love Colourblind by Darius!

FeckOffCup · 04/02/2013 09:55

I have that Fuck You Right Back song on my mp3 player, remember a few years ago both halves of a couple released songs with the same tune slagging each other off, didn't like his version but I found hers quite amusing.

MrsKeithRichards · 04/02/2013 15:21

I remember them FeckOff I really quite liked them but did prefer hers. I'd forgot all about them until his version was on in Poundstretchers before Christmas there

freddiefrog · 04/02/2013 15:27

Justin Bieber! Somehow I've managed to merge my playlist with my daughter's and I can't get rid of it.

She's probably equally embarrassed by my Bryan Adams collection

I'll listen to anything except thrash metal, opera and dance music that sounds like car alarms going off. My lack of musical taste is well known to my friends so I'm not embarrassed anymore
