To get irritated with MNs who have very long nickcnames with peculiar spellings. I like to say Hi to the person I am "talking" to especially when there are a lot of people on the same thread, but I get fed up of really long ones eg. Ilikeorangesbutdontlikelemons - I made that one up and it's easy enough to just call her "Oranges&Lemons" but sometimes there are wierd ones that are long with peculiar spellings too, and no easy to shorten.

KeemaNaanAndCurryOn · 25/01/2013 21:07

Just call me Keema Grin.

sittinginthesun · 25/01/2013 21:07

I just use the first bit of the name. Grin

crazynanna · 25/01/2013 21:09

GoldPlatedNineDoors · 25/01/2013 21:10

I mainly get Gold. Once called Doors and I didnt know who they were talking to.

GPND works just as well.

I shall call you Nana

SPsFanjoIsAsComfyAsAOnesie · 25/01/2013 21:10

I use either the first bit or the last bit.

I also don't like people with Fat in the name or something not very nice as I don't want to offend people Grin

usualsuspect · 25/01/2013 21:13

just call me usual, unless you are flagging me off then I expect my full name.

usualsuspect · 25/01/2013 21:13

Slagging*

ratspeaker · 25/01/2013 21:13

Why not just highlight, copy then paste the name into your reply?
You can highlight it by adding a * before and after it.

andtheycalleditbunnylove · 25/01/2013 21:14

pfft.

HoHoHoNoYouDont · 25/01/2013 21:15

Just call me a Ho, everyone else does Grin

Fakebook · 25/01/2013 21:15

Really?

BarredfromhavingStella · 25/01/2013 21:16

I'm the same as Usual -Barred is fine unless you are having a bitch, the full name is then of course required (well it'd be rude not to Grin )

Doilooklikeatourist · 25/01/2013 21:18

Hi , I'm Doi or tourist

Nagoo · 25/01/2013 21:19

See, I like Goo.

I ought to reconsider my capitalisation strategy.

Does it matter though? I just pick a bit out of the name [lazy]

When I add bits to the name and people call me by the bits, I don't recognise myself.

IN nobdie threads there's a 4 letter protocol. My favourite was tidybaby who requested we call her dyba. :)

RobinSparkles · 25/01/2013 21:20

You can call me Robin if you like!

Nagoo · 25/01/2013 21:20

TiggyD · 25/01/2013 21:29

My friends call me Tigs for short, so feel free to call me Tiggy "Hotlips" D'Amour.

Tommy · 25/01/2013 21:29

manticlimactic · 25/01/2013 21:34

I just copy and paste the name.

issey6cats · 25/01/2013 21:37

sittinginthesun · 25/01/2013 21:46

I quite like a nickname. I'm on here a lot, but not that prolific. When someone actually calls me "Sitting", I get quite excited.
