Nicknames

To get irritated with MNs who have very long nickcnames with peculiar spellings. I like to say Hi to the person I am "talking" to especially when there are a lot of people on the same thread, but I get fed up of really long ones eg. Ilikeorangesbutdontlikelemons - I made that one up and it's easy enough to just call her "Oranges&Lemons" but sometimes there are wierd ones that are long with peculiar spellings too, and no easy to shorten.

You can call me ER. It's easy. Sometimes I am rough, and sometimes I am smooth.

People either refer to me as Secret or Cervix, it does not bother me :)

I did snort the other day when BOF was shortened to LesBO :)

I normally get called StickEm or Pointy.

StickEm sounds rude and I know there are a few other "StickEms" or similar around.

I like Pointy. Reminds me of Mr Pointy (Buffy reference for those who don't know).

I respond to grey but don't really think mine counts as long :-)

I get wanna or wannabe but theres a wannaBe so that gets confusing.

Thegreylady - your names just trips off the tongue. I never think of you by a shortened name.

I get really irritated if people don't call me elHea, I don't know what's wrong with people tbh

I think I wrote mine badly TBH when I joined (knackered at the time and unable to think of anything witty). I am So.... Worn.... Out....but it obviously reads weirdly because I get called Sworn, Sow, and other things! .

Not that I mind. Call me what you like, folks!

I always felt uncomfortable shortening her name to Slag but it seemed weird addressing her as You as well

Actually I didn't lurk long enough before posting to realise names get shortened, so I'm slightly embarrassed my NN isn't a little more modest.

I did have a non star NC for The Jubbilee, but it felt all wrong. I've got used to it.

I have to say Endoplasmic Reticlum is my favourite MN name.
(I had a rough time on an astronomy cause and found biology smooth sailing, way less maths).

If I had a longer name I would only end up forgetting what I had called myself.

Mine's quite long and I usually just get "Ghoul". I think the key point is the joke doesn't work if don't have all the words in it...

Ill take pretty much anything like I do in RL tho tbf I'm not sure what you'd shorten Kafri to. :-)
