For me it would probably be:

Not reading the OP properly and going off on a tangent
Pulling a thread totally OT in order to have a two way jokey conversation with someone else that goes on for pages and pages
Looking up someone's posting history and saying 'well on 5th April 2006 you said this and now you're saying that.

OP posts:

Competitive misery

bunchamunchycrunchycarrots · 24/01/2013 11:49

Posters that hint at something really juicy but refuse to post any further info, and then you get hundreds of pages of 'pm me'. Fucking irritates the life out of me. Either just say it, or don't tease people with your 'top secret' information that you are dying to blurt out but want just enough people begging you before you'll think about hinting some more what it is you want to say.

coraltoes · 24/01/2013 11:49

getorf oh that fuck off to the far end... Argh! So fucking affected!

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 11:49

I hate 'I am going to get flamed for this but..'

That doesn't make you brave and forthright. It likely means you are about to post something fucking thick

GetOrf · 24/01/2013 11:50

Oh I did a 'am I pregnant' thread, it was great fun (especially when I pissed on a stick WRONG and it didn't work).

I am probably guilty of most of these crimes.

WorraLiberty · 24/01/2013 11:50

Fuck off to the far side of fuck is almost as bad as "Did you mean to be so rude".

IamtheZombie · 24/01/2013 11:50

Recent thread explaining "mansplaining":

Oh and (on a roll) people who start threads and caption them as 'lighthearted'.

It makes me want to to go on there and start a rah.

nefertarii · 24/01/2013 11:52

People who drip feed they have one, depressions, mental health issues, aspergers etc (or the children they are posting about) in their OP but decide to enlighten people after 3 pages of being told they are unreasonable.

People who ask if the are bu, but get enraged when they are told they are bu.

People who get shitty because they the the op is reasonable and another poster doesn't. Often whether someone is unreasonable is an opinion.

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 11:52

I like yy

it's fast

I don't think I mind anything except rudeness

and thickness

pictish · 24/01/2013 11:52

'Did you mean to be so rude'

I cannot fathom mumsnet's pride in this lame and completely ignorable comeback.

WorraLiberty · 24/01/2013 11:52

Pagwatch it's even worse when they say "I'm probably going to get flamed for this but..."

And then go on to post something that just about every single person agrees with because it's so obviously agreeable.

Just why?

BupcakesAndCunting · 24/01/2013 11:52

When someone says that they know something juicy about a sleb then won't divulge.

DON'T TEASE US!

I am glaring at YOU, Nancy66, wherever you may be.

Fenton · 24/01/2013 11:53

Any nasty talk of cliques, shouting out for MN mates, group bullying etc when actually all that is happening is a number of posters agreeing that another is being a knob.

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 11:53

I know something juicy about a sleb Buppyhunni xxxxxxx

RantyMcRantpants · 24/01/2013 11:53

Thank you jammy and the beauteous zombie

RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 11:53

Ooh yes, definitely the people who tell you something "wasn't funny".

Actually what I think you meant to say is I didn't find it funny. The latter is a perfectly valid observation, the former is condescending bollocks.

(My word ranting is therapeutic!)

IamtheZombie · 24/01/2013 11:53

And Zombie is too slow as usual... Blush

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 11:53

I really want to know what Nancy66 knows now even tjho I don't actually care and won't have heard of the sleb anyway

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 11:54

I use yy sometimes.
And I

I am bloody irritating

RantyMcRantpants · 24/01/2013 11:55

Yes, yes, yes Bups, Nancy66 really anoys me doing that.

HighJinx · 24/01/2013 11:56

I get irritated by the posters who refuse to accept that some threads are just an OP wanting a place to let off steam or have a bit of a rant.

For example OP moaning about guests over Christmas etc. So they pounce with UABVVVVVVU because some people have no family blah blah blah or demanding they LTB in response to an OP that someone's partner was a bit snippy over breakfast.

So people have to add to thread titles Confused
