For me it would probably be:

Not reading the OP properly and going off on a tangent
Pulling a thread totally OT in order to have a two way jokey conversation with someone else that goes on for pages and pages
Looking up someone's posting history and saying 'well on 5th April 2006 you said this and now you're saying that.

OP posts:

Will someone just tell me what it actually is then? Confused

to the woman who pushed in front of me at the self serve queue in Sainsburys. I'd just found my gerbil dead and had quite a bad back this morning. Thanks for making my day so much worse

Oh do fuck off, if you didn't have the nerve to say something at the time, don't 'pretend' to do it now.

GetOrf · 24/01/2013 12:45

Eh? Explain the roof conundrum please.

Catriona - there is a button you can press so you can highlight the OP's posts (and you can choose the colour they are highlighted in, at present my OP is highlighted in a fetching purple).

RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 12:45

Ruth? Ruth? What?

coraltoes · 24/01/2013 12:46

I have never seen a begging thread! Gutted

Catriona100 · 24/01/2013 12:46

Just thought of another one.. when the Op gets you ll interested in her story but doesn't come back to update. (OK, I know I am just being nosey but i might have spent an hour of my life reading her thread and thinking about her!).

GrannyRatOnAScooter · 24/01/2013 12:46

Erm, just googled ruth and roof of mouth and definitely comes up with roof Confused

GetOrf · 24/01/2013 12:47

It's NOT ruth of the mouth.

It's roof, as in a fucking roof on a house. Grin

OP Agree completely with your last two.

But can't agree with the first one, having not read the whole thread as I can't be arsed Smile

RandallPinkFloyd · 24/01/2013 12:48

Surely it's the roof, as in the top?
Not Ruth as in this is my left Gerald and this is my right Isabella.

NoelHeadbands · 24/01/2013 12:48

can I have a teeny stealth boast about my DD?

No. Fuck off

BupcakesAndCunting · 24/01/2013 12:48

"It's ruth of your mouth pronounced and spelt the same as Ruth the name."

WHAT?

I just typed "Ruth of mouth" into Google and it suggested "Mike Rutherford of Genesis'"

:(

Slubberdegullion · 24/01/2013 12:48

Starting and feeding slow cooker threads. Mn is utterly obsessed at a chronic pathological level with the slow cooker.
There must be out there in the ether enough slow cooker recipes and top tips which, if laid end to end, would stretch to Venus and back and half of those are on mumsnet. Just quit with the slow cooker questions, don't they come with an instruction manual?
My mother found my slow cooker on a skip and never once have I felt the need to ask what to do with it. IT COOKS THINGS SLOWLY. Why are there no threads about just standard cookers, I'll tell you why because they are pretty bleeding obvious, apart from the symbol with the water drop and a star (?)

Apart from that nothing and no one else annoys me.

I think Tufty is on the wind up
what the feck

HyvaPaiva · 24/01/2013 12:49

LadyBeagle, I did point out that more tragic circumstances (like the loss of a loved one, pet or person) would make it likely that actual tears would be shed, I wasn't judging or denying that. It's when it happens for minor reasons in which clearly no crying is being done that it makes me Hmm

WildThong · 24/01/2013 12:49

Tufty

eh? Ur loosing the plot

hoodoo12345 · 24/01/2013 12:49

Starting a thread and then vanishing so no one knows if it was resolved,
Stealth boasting,
bitching,
grammar police.

I do love it on here thoughSmile

Hullygully · 24/01/2013 12:49

poor ickle buppyhunni xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

TuftyFinch · 24/01/2013 12:49

Google isn't always true though and if you look at the etymology it's ruth.
Even my dentist spells it wrong Hilly, I asked him if he used to be a builder. He laughed and said it was because he went to dentist school in the 70s! Ever.

fuzzypicklehead · 24/01/2013 12:49

But sometimes (not often, mind you) I have actually cried at posts. Or laughed. I may have actually weed a bit once, I laughed so hard. Now I feel bad for saying so. Big meanies.

GrannyRatOnAScooter · 24/01/2013 12:50

This thread is making me Grin

Pagwatch · 24/01/2013 12:50

I wouldn't want mike rutherford of genesis in my mouth if that's all the same to you.

GetOrf · 24/01/2013 12:50

Tufty is on the wind up. Grin
