I'm 38 weeks in hospital since yest morning with high blood pressure not seen a doctor today but guessing I'm being kept in for minimum of another day.
Had some visitors but they've said the roads are terrible cause of snow so have told people not to come as its risky.
So now I'm say here in hospital crying (quietly so no one else on ward can hear) I want to go home and I want a cuddle from my OH can't have either just so fed up- please tell me to sort myself out literally cannot stop crying!

How's it hangin', Wishful?
I think your fanjo is probably reacting with rage!
Glad you've had some sleep though!

Wishful, sounds like the start! That's how I felt pains too. See, crying is good. Are you usually really hormonal before your period? The feelings you have before labour are usually the same as before labour commences.

Please keep popping on here for a chat!
My dd is expecting a baby today! Well today is her due date.
I was taken into hospital at 31 weeks with high bp and protein and was in till I had her, induced at 37 weeks. Born on 22/12/94 and was allowed him on Xmas eve.
That was such a lovely Christmas!
I hope your bp settles and you're allowed home, or your contractions hot up and you have your baby soon x x

Fanjo rage! Marvelous. This thread has many unexpected gems. It's totally the place to be. And there'll be a baby.

Glad to hear you got some sleep. And don't worry about the crying at all.

YABU but it's OK Smile

When your baby is born and you don't have a minute to yourself in the day and definitely not many hours to sleep in the night either, you will think back at these entire days you could just lie back and relax.

New update- the pains/fanjo rage have now ceased so baby time might be a while yet- but do get emotional before my period is due wonder if I'll cry at home?!
Seen doc this morning am allowed to go home this afternoon and come back in for montioring next week-yey :)
I've even had a nice chat with the Telly woman we have made peace in my 'early release- happy haze' even when she said ''at least it was nice and quiet last night

Grin

sometimes just being in a hospital situation can be stressful enough to keep your BP elevated. :(

Ok well it's an oldie but goodie:

There once was a man from Nantucket,
Whose dick was so long he could suck it.
He said with a grin,
As he wiped off his chin,
"If my ear was a cunt, I would fuck it!"

There was a young man from Nantucket
Who had such a big cock he could suck it.
..He looked in the glass
..And saw his own ass,
And broke his neck trying to fuck it.

A honeymoon pair from Nantucket
Went to bed, and by God they did fuck it!
..Next morning, said he:
..?Do you feel like some tea??
?No I feel like a billposters bucket!?
