Post what the best and worst gifts you have received!

Jedward mask. I don't even know where it is now, and I only got it last week!

Best: none. They're all shite.

I got a brilliant one this year - half a dozen cupcakes baked especially for me!

The cupcakes sound good Remus!

The best I ever got was a singing reindeer hobbyhorse. Very random but it raised a lot of laughs that year at work because I rode it round all afternoon and dd2 loved it as well.

worst: any type of alcohol. Everyone at work knows I don't drink.

I once got a pink "spanking paddle" and some black nipple tassles.

V embarrassed considering we had to open them in front of everyone and more than a little creeped out.

Had a guy at my last workplace give a framed signed photo of himself topless a wearing shorts and boxing gloves. Lucky person who drew that out of the secret Santa bag... Or not!

Best: An original painting from a colleague - he's an up and coming artist in his 'other' life, and has now had several successful exhibitions. It was framed and everything, and still hangs on my wall. His paintings are going for £200 - £300+ now, so I keep telling him how I really hope he'll make it big, so my piccie will be worth millions and I can leave the damn place! . This year's was good too, some touchscreen gloves and some lindt choccies!

Worst? Multipack bag of walker's crisps.

Best... hmmm. A sudoku keyring. Says everything.

Best: a beautiful handmade Christmas garland.

I don't want to say the worst in case the giver sees this - its fairly unique.

I got a lovely gift this year of some beautiful porcelain measuring cups, a scarf and some face care stuff I use. Was really chuffed.

Worst ever was a lime green snake skin handbag.

A Ped Egg, good non? Along with a bag of grated Parmesan?! haven't had it since!

Best - glitter liquid eyeliners - from the scariest, butchest guy in the office who we were all a bit scared of

Worst - bottle of own brand Brandy. It's still in the cupboard 4yrs later

Worst: A weird glittery beetle brooch (sp?), I have never worn anything similar and was 27

Best: this year got some lovely nails inc nail polishes, but the giver kind of missed the point as it was supposed to be a silly gift not complaining

Worst- generic lavender bath set.

Best- Twister!!!

I once got a snowglobe with a figure of the pope in it (i am not Christian, let alone catholic)

The best however was a vibrating butt plug

Best was a mug designed just for me with pics of my dogs on it

Worst was a car air freshener!

I have never done secret Santa but this year DP was given £15 of oranges.

I've been freelance/self-employed for over a decade so it's never occurred. However, I have supplied a few friends with gifts for their workplace parties: usually vaguely risque pin badges or erotic fiction . I do sometimes wonder how the recipients take it...

FutureNannyOgg will you re-gift it? (not putting my name down). You win imo.

I have only had one ( poor me) but it was some strange risque items from the woman who took an unhealthy interest in my sex life and told me an awful lot too much about hers...

A wooden mushroom, even more weird when everyone exclaimed "it's so you"!??

Also a battery operated chicken that flapped and sang the birdie song!

Worst: flavoured nipple balm. Nearly died when I opened it in the office.
Best: a battery operated hand warmer.
