YABU, I find her so unfunny. I really want to like her but she's just so... not.

Fakebook · 29/11/2012 14:02

I find her hilarious. But not hilarious enough to buy her book. Apparently they're true stories about her growing up, I think she said something like that on graham norton.

KarrenS79 · 29/11/2012 14:05

WHy would it be unreasonable?!

impty · 29/11/2012 14:08

It's what I call a really good show. The DDs and I love it. DH not so keen though.

I wish she and Gary would get together properly.

ShatnersBassoon · 29/11/2012 14:12

Just to warn you, should you decide to watch more than one episode, there is only one joke. HTH.

TessOfTheBaublevilles · 29/11/2012 14:15

YANBU - I absolutely love Miranda.

Such fun!

SackGirl · 29/11/2012 14:22

LOVE Miranda ... You have alotto chairs

Merrylegs · 29/11/2012 14:23

Oh, well I actually really like her and find her tv show v hilair. But be warned. The book is Not Great. In fact it is what I call a Massive Disappointment.

Because it is full of v 'amusing' situations like losing your skirt at inopportune moments and tripping over things and putting foot in mouth etc which is all such fun.

But it reads like one long rejected script for the TV show.

I think if it had been presented as 'Miranda, the Lost Scripts' or some such it might have been jolly.

But instead it is a strange mix of 'this is me telling you a bit about my life and my ideas' and 'actually it's not me but my TV character in made up situations'.

Its neither one thing or t'other. Rude.

I wish she had just written about her real life, actually. I wish she had written an honest book. It would have been good. (Although the section on her dog is v sweet.)

Anyway I borrowed the book from the library and was v glad I hadn't paid cash for it.

Not worth bearing with.

kiwigirl42 · 29/11/2012 14:35

I can't stand that stupid face she pulls all the time, the one on the front of the book. SO annoying

fallingsun · 29/11/2012 14:44

She's hilarious, I could watch her all day, dh loves her too.

bondigidum · 29/11/2012 16:17
