I just don't get her. I wish I did. Sad

Catsnotrats · 29/11/2012 18:42

I bloody love Miranda!

I've got her book as an audiobook, and I think that is probably the best way to enjoy it if you like her on TV. Her character comes through very strongly through her voice, and I think it is probably more engaging than reading it with your own voice ifysm.

wtf1981 · 29/11/2012 19:08

Love her.

Love Gary more!

wonderingsoul · 29/11/2012 19:14

ohh i love it!!
and youv just given me a great idea of what to ask santa for :D

catgirl1976 · 29/11/2012 19:42

I hate the programme

But I do want to have a lot of sex with the man in it

SomebodySaveMe · 29/11/2012 19:44

I love her. DP pretends he doesn't but I've caught him laughing to the tune of poker face.

fiftyval · 29/11/2012 20:56

I've bought the book for dd's Christmas stocking - very good price from The Book People. She loves doing Miranda impressions so will suggest to her she reads the book to herself in a Miranda voice.
On a slight tangent - does anyone know if their is a Miranda Xmas special this year? I know the new series starts January.

Caerlaverock · 29/11/2012 20:59

I thought I like the show but then I watched more than one and realised it was tedious.

Yes, she may be funny, but she doesn't have the allure.

I, however, have the allure...

Marvellismus!!

BridgetBidet · 29/11/2012 21:41

She's smug. Very smug. And so are people who like her, frequently.

mathsconundrum · 29/11/2012 21:45

Not funny and I can't bear that face she has on the cardboard cut outs in Waterstones. It's not a question of taste, she is objectively not funny. Her genre can be funny but she and her programme are not.

AcidTurkishBath · 29/11/2012 21:53

SIL loves it. I can bear it because I that means I never watch it more frequently than once a month. They're just all exactly the same.

VonHerrBurton · 29/11/2012 21:54

God, Bridget you are sooo right.

Smug McSmuggery. I always imagine her laughing all the way to the bank thinking 'but I'm not even funny and millions of people think I am hahahaha'

Awful.

degutastic · 29/11/2012 22:06

yanbu, I love her, her show and her book. She can do no wrong at degu towers.
