Ok is it just me that finds it completely irritating to see to see posters to include [sigh] in their posts.

It reminds me of a petulant child

I disagree OP

It can be so wonderfully passive agressive

I luffs* a bit of passive aggression, me

But it isn't as good as a well placed :)

:)

LadyBeagle · 26/11/2012 11:59

I used it like I would in RL.
Eg...cute kittens post.
I so want a kitten

^Like that.Smile

valiumredhead · 26/11/2012 12:08

Oh I often include a sigh or a shrug - helps get my point across Grin

And sometimes I even include a LOL or a xxx.

EverlongLovesHerChristmasRobin · 26/11/2012 12:10

You're kidding me.
I love a good

valiumredhead · 26/11/2012 12:12

I love a good shrug

MrsMangoBiscuit · 26/11/2012 12:14

MrsMushroom - I always read cnuts as C-Nuts, so I think of cashews. Grin

JamieandtheMagicTorch · 26/11/2012 12:15

i hate FFS and Hmm

so rude

which is obvs the intention

Pagwatch · 26/11/2012 12:17

I use [sigh] and [shrug]

It is quicker than typing 'I have already posted this twice and in language a toddler with headphones on and his eyes shut would understand but you are either fucking thick or out for a fight so I will try just once more. A bit grudgingly' and 'it's alright. It doesn't matter that much'

Or sometimes I am just posting about personal stuff and feeling fatigued or trying to brush off a glum post.

So context matters really.
