I went to park near the school & their is this women who for a few days now has ranted at me not at me in the car, today she hooted her horn at me so i would move out of the way the road is not marked for her space & this is abusive and should not be tolerated behind the wheel. she gives me the evils. I just ignored her in a rage i was took her number plate And was going to report her to the military police. I am not the type of person to confront people and why should I move her space is not marked.

Pop a cap in her ass?

kenanddreary · 21/11/2012 16:17

But pinkglitter this post is very confusing. I am having difficulty trying to work it out and I am normally very clever Grin.

Could you just try to explain the situation again - explaining who was trying to park where and perhaps you will get some good advice. Smile

SantaisBarredfromhavingStella · 21/11/2012 16:19

& from my understanding of your pretty confusing post I have given you advice Hmm

ShamyFarrahCooper · 21/11/2012 16:19

You aren't parking across a drive way are you?

kenanddreary · 21/11/2012 16:20

Ok - cross post there. I think I get it now. You were in 'her' space outside her house waiting for your DC. She came home just at that moment and wanted 'her' space.

Now are you sure this space doesn't belong to her house? I ask because many homes have their own spaces which go with the house but aren't marked.

pinkglitter · 21/11/2012 16:21

no army houses don't come with their own parking space

ScooseIsOnTheLoose · 21/11/2012 16:22

Will somebody think of the wasp!!! Sad

ShamyFarrahCooper · 21/11/2012 16:23

Just ignore her then?

LineRunner · 21/11/2012 16:23

Parking Wars.

OP posts:
FunnysInLaJardin · 21/11/2012 16:24

so were you parking outside her house?

kenanddreary · 21/11/2012 16:26

Would you be able to speak to her? However, I think I would rather avoid any type of confrontation with someone who rants and raves. She sounds very unpleasant.

Can you not just find somewhere else to park and avoid the whole issue? Go for an easy life Smile

Groovee · 21/11/2012 16:32

Were you parking outside her house? Maybe she wants to park outside her house to enable her to get things out the car and into the house.

Can't you walk or park where it's not outside someone's home?

NoraGainesborough · 21/11/2012 17:49

So you park outside this womans house and she wants to park there as the houses do not come with a parking space. Is that right?

I can see why she is annoyed. I know anyone can park on the road, however since you all live on an army base together could you not park somewhere else just to keep the peace?

Isn't there anywhere more convenient (for the people who live round the school) to park.

Still don't get why the police (military or otherwise) would be bothered.

WelshMaenad · 21/11/2012 17:53

You're going to call the police because she gave you evils, or because she beeped her horn at you?

Tweasels · 21/11/2012 18:31
gordyslovesheep · 21/11/2012 18:34

at you not at you ...i am confused

HoneyDragon · 21/11/2012 18:51

So you are not blocking access to a drive way? Her house is directly on the road?

So this is ongoing then as it's been happening for a few days. Why can't you just park away from her door then? Is it worth all this? Are you doing this now on purpose? I'm not saying you're wrong as such if there are designated spaces but involving the police will just escalate matters won't it.

Be a better person OP and turn the other cheek. Life's too short and you obviously live in a place where upsetting the applecart doesn't make for a quiet life.

ClippedPhoenix · 21/11/2012 19:05

aren't designated spaces of course!

PessaryPam · 21/11/2012 22:28

Yesbut, nobut, YABU.

FunnysInLaJardin · 21/11/2012 22:31

oh, I think the OP has other things on her mind. How odd is that? Just to abandon a thread like that.

OP are you nuts or nay?

FunnysInLaJardin · 21/11/2012 22:32
