Hi,

on my profile ( hope it works) is a copy of a class photo.

Done on a non uniform day.

Would you buy it ??

I actually rather like it Blush

The school does a traditional photo later on in the year.

£12 each ???

not that clear on the image but they are all "in" a big box thing.

I hate the new ones, last year a the kids were throwing gang signs while the teacher and ta's sat astride a chair trying to look street.
Year before they were photos mid jump and they all looked deranged

I long for a traditional photo

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 13/11/2012 17:57

I'd buy it if it represented my DCs personality.

Santasinmypudenda · 13/11/2012 17:58

Also should you be posting a school pic with other peoples kids in it on a public forum?

boakornot · 13/11/2012 17:59

the faces have been pixelated out, it is tiny, you can barely see if they are boys or girls.

Oh right, sorry I didn't have my contacts in so they all look blurred anyway Grin

boakornot · 13/11/2012 18:02

no worries , If you can recognise ANY kids in there you must have some sort of super power, maybe Captain Squint !

I like it Smile doesn't look much like a school photo though, just a load of kids in boxes...

boakornot · 13/11/2012 18:05

I quite like it that its just them in their own choice of clothes , so more of a "friends" photo I suppose.

It actually looks quite "clever" full sized ( a sort of pidgeon hole effect ) but I didnt want to risk any of the kids being identified on a larger image ( even if I did pixelate out the faces)

the kids chose their own poses and you can see their expressions.

How'd they get in the box? Is it stood up? Confused

Grin Grin

Nooooo !

its just one box, they get in one after the other and then by the power of grey skull use of some clever photo thing it all gets joined together.

though id LOVE to see the top ones gettign in !!!

Last year my unusually tiny DS was put next to the tallest and fattest girl in year 3, with the another very tiny boy flanking her on the other side. It made the poor child look extraordinarily huge by contrast. Hilarious. Hmm

In year six they made my dd's friend lie on the floor next to a boy who farts all the time, and she ended up in tears. Looked grim in the photo.

So although YABU to like them, the ones I've seen have been terrible.

NoTeaForMe · 13/11/2012 18:18

I like that one and a friend of mine with a child in primary school has a nice one, but I don't like the idea of the children doing 'gang signs' and the teachers looking 'street' that sounds really cringey!

ClutchingPearls · 13/11/2012 18:19

I like it, although I'm confused how the girl at the top doing Crab in the box managed it.

JudeFawley · 13/11/2012 18:19

Its a bit 'venture' for me, but I think the kids would love it, so I would buy it.

Love it! Thinks it makes a real change from the boring 'standing in rows' version.

My school went for 'fun' for a few years and then back to traditional. Guess which were more popular? Grin

Ilovecake1 · 13/11/2012 18:30

I think it's lovely and reasonably priced!
