How much do they cost each? Are they a waste of money?

OP posts:
NotQuintAtAllOhNo · 28/10/2012 21:06

yup.

They also taste vile. Think mahoosive amounts of artificial flavouring to turn "raisins" into pina colada flavored whatsits.

freddiefrog · 28/10/2012 21:09

Yes!

We had them for a while, DH had a voucher for free and half price ones

Other than some gorgeous ginger flapjacks, they were revolting and I cancelled

whyisthepathsounclear · 28/10/2012 21:11

oo they are quite pricey, but I think they are delicious! Lots of options and I love having the little packets to open (I am sad, I know!)
The portion control factor really helps me. My friend pointed out that you can buy all the ingredients and make all your own much more cheaply but I love having all the hard work done for me.
Plus they deliver straight to work, so I don't have to remember them in the morning.
All in all, I guess I am saying they are lovely, because I am lazy Grin.

valiumredhead · 28/10/2012 21:14

Go to Tesco, buy food, take to work and eat. Much cheaper.

GhostShip · 28/10/2012 21:16

They are a waste of money but I like them.

I cancelled because I'm skint, they keep sending me emails about free boxes...

HeinousHecate · 28/10/2012 21:17

They are expensive. Teeny tiny boxes of bog all.

That you trough your way through on the day you get them Blush

EricNorthmanIsMyMaker · 28/10/2012 21:18

I like them! You just have to make sure you tell them which options you really don't want to receive.

OhlimpPricks · 28/10/2012 21:21

A friend at work had one that contained some miniature shortbread biscuits, some toffee drops, some chocolate buttons and some raisins. So, basically a deconstructed Tix and a handful of dried fruit for nearly £4....Hmm

OhlimpPricks · 28/10/2012 21:22

They're expensive, shit and unhealthy.

HTH.

Inneedofbrandy · 28/10/2012 21:25

They were scrummy esp the apple flapjack. Was a waste of money and I had a deal 5 for the price of 3, wouldn't bother again apart from the odd birthday I send one to a friend.

SnowWide · 28/10/2012 21:25

The first couple of boxes, you get all their exotic fare. But after that, the only things that keep cropping up are cardboardy flapjacks and sad raisins... Avoid!

girlbehind · 28/10/2012 21:32

They're stupidly expensive, but I love having them for long days with lots of meetings.

(And I love the little hint of life-on-the-edge excitement and never knowing what I'm going to get).

pinkyp · 28/10/2012 21:34

I love them! I click on preferences and remove all the nut ones tho

MrsReiver · 28/10/2012 21:42

I like mine, but at £3.25 I only get one every 6 weeks or so, they're nice for an occasional treat.

JustSpidero · 28/10/2012 21:44

I had them for a few weeks on an offer.

It was quite good fun opening a box of surprise goodies and DD looked forward it and was encouraged to try some different stuff, but at full price I'd say it was expensive and a bit hit and miss tbh.

Alisvolatpropiis · 28/10/2012 21:44

I've tried them, using a free code and then for a few weeks after. All the cherry flavoured raisins etc seem a bit dodgy health wise and taste vile but they're handy for giving you ideas you can recreate on the cheap (because at full price they are not!) and also for portion sizes for snacks.

Try a free box and see what you think.

oopslateagain · 28/10/2012 21:45

Oh.

I've just ordered my first box. I hope it's more than cardboardy flapjacks and sad raisins.

('Twas free though as my friend gave me a voucher)

VitoCorleone · 28/10/2012 21:49

Im actually eating a little pack of the''banoffee pie'' from Graze right now, ive been getting them for a while now and im getting a bit bored, i 'binned' all the ones with raisins in so i dont really have much selection, but i love the flapjacks, the breads, the cakes, the different flavour pistachios and the ''cookies and cream'' one.

Think im going to have a break for a while though

BitchSister · 28/10/2012 21:50

I love love LOVE mine. I get them twice a week. I know you can make them up yourself, but for me its having the portion control so I stick to just them. And its good to eat nuts / dried fruit instead of chocolate & fruit. Like others, I like the little excitement when i first open them. My brother started me on them and he has heavily edited his so he gets just the sweet things

LadyMaryCreepyCrawley · 28/10/2012 21:52

Don't do it. Really. Go to Holland and barrett, and buy some bags of seeds/nuts etc. Please save your pennies.

lovebunny · 28/10/2012 21:54

carefully selecting your box contents helps. but its quicker and cheaper to buy a few bags of seeds, nuts and fruits, and a small compartmented storage box, and make your own.
graze do put a lot of extra stuff in - like flavourings - which isn't any help at all.

PickleSarnie · 28/10/2012 21:54

I bloody love them. On mat leave at the mo so can't justify them. But I used to get them delivered to my work on Mondays. Used to make starting the working week a bit less shit.

I used to hoover up all four boxes by the end of the day though. Often before lunch so I'm not sure how healthy that is!

riskit4abiskit · 28/10/2012 21:58

I also love them!
