Someone has stolen my daughters beautiful ladybird wellies from outside our front door. They weren't going to fit her for much longer, so I had to buy some new ones anyway, BUT THEY WERE GORGEOUS!!!! And no longer onsale anywhere anymore. Am very very sad.

Foxes?

VigourMortis · 13/10/2012 14:31

Dolly, foxes have four feet, not two Hmm

Pancakeflipper · 13/10/2012 14:33

Oh Dolly, I am crying at the image of a fox wandering along looking foxy in their new ladybird boots for 2 of their feet.

YANBU.

MrsRajeshKoothrappali · 13/10/2012 14:35

Wow.

People stoop low, don't they.

I thought I was unshockable but stealing a child's wellies has made me a bit Confused .

WofflingOn · 13/10/2012 14:38

Foxes steal trainers round our way, as chew toys. Usually one at a time, but we have a family of teenage terrors who act as a quartet.
I'm sorry about the wellies, hopefully you will find some others that she will love as much and have many adventures in too.

Oldandcobwebby · 13/10/2012 14:39

To pick her wellies, the their had to stoop low. I hope the irony was not wasted on him/her, but I bet it was.

Startailoforangeandgold · 13/10/2012 14:41

YANBU

theoldtrout01876 · 13/10/2012 14:45

youarewinning · 13/10/2012 14:48

People Shock me at times. Do not get the mentality of someone who decides as they walk past someones house to just take their things Angry

freddiefrog · 13/10/2012 14:49

YANBU!

Some people really make me wonder, my DD2 had a pair of cowboy boot wellies nicked at school.

My friend bought them back from America and I've never seen them over here so I was gutted. As was DD2, she loved those boots

toomuch2young · 13/10/2012 14:52

No seriously about the foxes!! My friend had one of her crocs taken from door step and then saw a foxy scurrying up the street with it. Honest!

NotShortImFunSized · 13/10/2012 14:55

That is bloody awful, some people have no morals at all Angry

Night before last someone stole a small tool bag with tools in and 2 cases of screw and fixings etc off of my porch (not enclosed)

I know I shouldn't have left them out over night but I was so tired I forgot to bring them in. Not even facing road or anything just some scummy chancer walking past is my bet Sad

butterflyroom · 13/10/2012 15:21

That's crap. I hope karma catches up with them and gives them a nasty case of veruccas.

If you need/want more ladybird wellies I saw some in Matalan today.

cbeebiesatemybrain · 13/10/2012 15:37

That's terrible! I had 2 beautiful hanging baskets stolen from outside my front door a few months ago, arseholes!

YouMayLogOut · 13/10/2012 15:39

YANBU Sad

Might there be some on eBay?

FurkinMerkin · 13/10/2012 15:43

my ds's left their box of fishing stuff outside one night, each thought the other had brought it in. it was stolen, but worse was that a local man was offering stuff to other random teenagers and one of Ds2 friends recognised the stuff as his, called police but nothing was done even though we knew who he was and where he lived. Angry

SoniaGluck · 13/10/2012 15:54

Foxes do love shoes, they have taken loads of ours. They often bring them back a few days later with big teeth marks in.

I am liking the idea of honest foxes.

Foxes stole my DD's wellies once. They were left in the middle of our garden, all chewed up. Thankfully we were able to remove the evidence before she saw them.

freddiefrog · 13/10/2012 16:21

I want honest foxes.

I'm fed up with clearing up my garden when they rip my bin bags up, re-filling the holes they've dug and bathing my dog after he's rolled in their shit Grin
