Hi not sure if i am in the right place, but i just wanted an unbiased opinion really. My DD comes home from her daddys yesterday and says he got in the bath with her. She's just 5 and asks LOTS of questions!
AIBU to not want her in the bath with him, even though it's her dad?

yabu. It's none of your business anyway, he's her parent as much as you.

Unless you think he's an abuser then yes...YABU. I would hope that if you think he has the potential to abuse, then you would not allow her alone with him at all.

YABU - I get in the bath with DS (6). What's the difference. DH also still gets in the bath with him.

My DH gets in the bath with our 4yo and 2yo DDs sometimes.

I can understand how the fact that he is yout ex might make it feel slightly weird for you as you don't see him naked anymore and don't want to think about it! But imo it is perfectly normal and quite nice for parents to occasionally share the bath with their young kids.

It would be weird if DD didn't like it and he still did it. Or if DD was past a certain age...when she might want privacy. They let you know...my DD began shooing me out of the room when she hit 8....she likes a shower in private.

Then she just got too bloody big and annoying.

DD talks about her dads waggly tail when she comes home. Usually to ask why I dont have one :o

She also sees me naked a lot when Im in the shower/getting dressed.

Its just normal. She learns about bodies. I havent bathed with her coz I dont like baths.

Im not sure what the problem is.
