Why the chuffing hell do people need to be so flaming aggressive in some of their posts?!
Everybody has different experiences/opinions. Whatever. There's no need at all to call someone an 'idiot' (or anything else for that matter) simply because they have a different view to yourself.
It's bullying. Surely. Makes me wonder whether they'd be so forthcoming with their assaults if they weren't hiding behind a computer screen.
Sorry, whinge over Angry

I think you must be the angel sent to help me define 'irony' to struggling students.

MrSunshine · 28/09/2012 17:11

It is not bullying. Find yourself a dictionary.

Also, find yourself another topic since you aren't asking an aibu.

LostItYearsAgo · 28/09/2012 17:15

Am I being unreasonable to think it? That good enough for you smart arse?!

OP posts:
MrSunshine · 28/09/2012 17:16

No. AIBU to think what? That people are as rude as you?
YABU.

Pagwatch · 28/09/2012 17:16

In fairness, I do have quite a smart arse.

pictish · 28/09/2012 17:17

That's not bullying!

If you ask a bunch of strangers what they think, they will tell you.

HolyAutumnGoldBatman · 28/09/2012 17:19

'That good enough for you smart arse'

erm....OP? Pot. Kettle. Black.

thornrose · 28/09/2012 17:20

There's no need at all to call someone an 'idiot' (or anything else for that matter)
You just called someone smart arse! Or was that meant to be ironic?

pictish · 28/09/2012 17:22

You whine about the word idiot, then pedal out smartarse when someone disagrees with you?

Have you any idea how daft you look?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 28/09/2012 17:22

LRD - like manna from heaven, isn't it! Grin

LostItYearsAgo · 28/09/2012 17:23

Irony! Thank the lord for people with a sense of humour.
I give up

puds11 · 28/09/2012 17:25

LRD was op being aggresive on another thread?

Op you've made yourself look a tit.

puds11 · 28/09/2012 17:26

Have i missed something???

YABU for having confused me so!

LRDtheFeministDragon · 28/09/2012 17:26

puds - not so far as I know? Confused I do feel it's fair enough to reply on the basis of this thread since it's this thread we're answering ...

TantrumsAndGoldAndOrange · 28/09/2012 17:27

Was this supposed to be a joke?

If so....epic fail as my dd would say

pictish · 28/09/2012 17:28

Thank God for people with a sense of humour? What??

MamaMumrOrangeTheGolden · 28/09/2012 17:30

Initially I had a paranoid moment, because I called someone a fucking idiot today, the I remembered this is aibu so the op could be referring to anyone!

travellingwilbury · 28/09/2012 17:32

I am probably more of a smart arse in rl , actually quite nice on here .

phantomhairpuller · 28/09/2012 17:34

Biscuit anyone?!

LRDtheFeministDragon · 28/09/2012 17:35

Oh. That was a joke? Confused

Ok then.

thornrose · 28/09/2012 17:37

Taxi for LostIt!

Hopeforever · 28/09/2012 17:39

Having just recovered from reading the first page of another thread, I agree that mners say things far more harshly on MN as they are anonymous. Well I hope they are not so rude in RL

DameCJ · 28/09/2012 17:43

How odd, someone finds harsh words on an internet site. Has this craic been going on long do you think?
