I am youngish, always been big and am quite far on in my pregnancy so pretty big tummy atm, plus having to contend with SPD, awful hormones and severe MS and constant tiredness.
Was at a family gathering and an older member of my family who I is known for being a bit sort of tactless was chatting away, she patted my tummy which I sort of ignored I know people do that with no malice.
She was discussing weight with my DM who is currently dieting and even though I was half across the room talking to another person she decided to bring me into the conversation
.
Saying 'you can get killer onto that diet as soon as shes got this one out' It was awful people could hear and were looking at me.
I made excuses to go and get a drink or something and as I was walking past this person they tapped me and started going on, "Was just saying how well your DM is doing and how she needs to bring you along with her after the baby, and get all this weight off!!*poking me all around my sides".
She was slim as a younger woman but like many older women has piled on weight with age. I glared at her stomach and said "maybe you should sort out your own weight before talking about mine".
My DM said that I really shouldn't have said anything but tbh I'm a but upset at the expectation that I should just tolerate it.
