To hate gin?!

It seems loaaaads of people like gin. Am I the only person who doesn't?! I lurve most booze old lush from wine to vodka - but gin?! Blah.
What's so great about it?

Love gin, hate tonic water.
Lemonade or fruit juice is the way forward. Or cocktails.

Coloured sprits are nasty, whisky/rum/brandy etc

It smells like lamp oil. Used to make me heave when I had to serve it to customers. As did whisky but that was self inflicted!
However damson gin is gorgeous and I'm making sloe gin this year too, just to see what its lie.

YABU! I bloody love gin. Gordons is my fave. I'm not keen on that Bombay Sapphire stuff though (Should be Mumbai Sapphire now, no?) and I loathe Hendricks, it's vile. So YANBU if you've only tried those two. Gordons is the way to go!

I love gin , lots of ice ,slice of lime..delicious !! I like it soo much that at work I buy the flavoured bottled water lemon and lime as it reminds me of a nice g and t as drinking at work would be frowned upon

Yes but I try and avoid sweeteners full stop, so it's not really about the taste.
