Therefore it's necessary to have a rudimentary grasp of the written word?

So AIBU to think if you can't even be arsed read the op properly, not the thread, not even just the ops posts, but just the actual opening post, than you can go forth and do one?

You might as well put a comment that's not even vaguely involved.

Op. Hello, I'd like your opinion on whether strawberry or raspberry jam would be better on a sponge cake.

Numpty: people who eat cheese are cunts.

Everyone else: eh? READ THE OP!!

Numpty: shan't it's a free forum stop being mean.

I am now grumpy. Will the perpetrators of this nonsense please desist forthwith. AIBU to be tetchy about this influx of non readiningness?

GreenEyesAndHam · 23/09/2012 23:00

A sort of pinky colour, but with a purple undertone iyswim.

WorraLiberty · 23/09/2012 23:00

As it is mostly words, can you link to the words that prompted you to start this thread please? Grin

McHappyPants2012 · 23/09/2012 23:01

words can be a danger on a screen just like in real life.

ChaosTrulyReigns · 23/09/2012 23:02

We are still in a dictatorship, aren't we?

ExitPursuedByABear · 23/09/2012 23:02

Depends very much on whether your sponge cake is made with butter.

TheGoldenKnid · 23/09/2012 23:03

Leave the bastard!

InvisibleHotPinkWeasel · 23/09/2012 23:04

No Worra - it's been intermittent this week. And, to be frank, one poster who has done so scares me, although that thread was deleted.

I tried it once before and it wasn't for me but each to their own Grin

TheGoldenKnid · 23/09/2012 23:07

Come on, Weasel, we won't tell anybody. And anyway, you're safe as you're invisible, innit.

InvisibleHotPinkWeasel · 23/09/2012 23:12

No! I am not linking cos then it will be a Fred about a fred, and MNHQ will come and squish this this weasel.
I do not wish to be splatted Grin

OP posts:
TheGoldenKnid · 23/09/2012 23:14

I'm disappointed. :( I was looking forward to a nice bit of deep-fried splatted weasel.

Now I've got to go and find some other road kill.

GreenEyesAndHam · 23/09/2012 23:14

Ouch! Don't be so touchy it's a free forum!

Actually I know exactly what you mean, seen it a few times recently myself. Tbh, I get a bit irritated by the 'havent read the thread but...

IE I know this is 600 posts into the thread but I'm so dumb I'm going to presume that no other pertinent info has been offered up by the OP, and I'm going to give you the benefit of my infinite wisdom and say YABU, and a bit lazy

GreenEyesAndHam · 23/09/2012 23:16

I'm too tired to even rant properly, that didn't make much sense

InvisibleHotPinkWeasel · 23/09/2012 23:17

Hmm do knids eat weasel?

Sorry Green. Yes that's it. It's like scan title then say shit. Move on to the next one.

OP posts:
TheGoldenKnid · 23/09/2012 23:20

Actually, this particular knid is a vegetarian. So you're quite safe, splatted or not.

I do think you have though. It is irritating when people don't read the OP or subsequent posts properly.

TheGoldenKnid · 23/09/2012 23:21

I do think you have a point though, that should say.

Time for bed...

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 23/09/2012 23:22

SillyBeardyDaddyman · 23/09/2012 23:27

Yes I have heard the latest ornithological news!

InvisibleHotPinkWeasel · 23/09/2012 23:28

Grin at least I have mnetter long enough to know my op deserves the random comments.

scottishmummy · 23/09/2012 23:30
